Loved the vibe this morning Espresso ☕️ I always love finding a space where it ticks so many boxes... as far as quietness goes, it’s not that quiet sitting inside or at the front entrance, but the plus was, I was still able to hear the conversation with ease of my co-GAP reviewer! If you want quiet, there is plenty of space to the side that can accommodate those that are sensitive to noise or need quiet time.
🌟🌟🌟🌟 service was amazing. Filled our cups with water constantly. Food was fast, ordering was fast, coffees could have come a little before our meal, but the bonus was - they do Bulletproof Coffee ☕️ 💥
The first thing I noticed was the staff smiled at you!! And took time out for a quick chat. Even though they were flat out... it’s a busy little place!
🌍🌍🌍🌍 atmosphere was cute and chilled. Loved the plants that adorn the place. The furniture, decor, artwork etc match the feel. The place gives off a chilled casual vibe.
🥗🥗🥗 food was yummy and had healthy options - vegan / vegetarian friendly and yes plenty of food for meat 🥩 eaters alike 😋
☕️☕️☕️☕️ my co-GAP reviewer rated the Bulletproof pretty high saying “it’s the best I’ve had on the coast”!
🍵☕️🍵☕️ the dirty chai was good. It was just sweet enough 🙌🏾 and not too dirty!!
🎶 🎶🎶 music was perfect. Wasn’t too loud. Chilled tunes.
💸💸💸 value was on par with other cafes in the area... bonus - good food, good service, good coffee!

Things I look for in any business that I care to exchange TEM (time, energy, money) in/on must include the following:
🌟 Customer service - this can’t be faked, must be authentic & genuine
🌟 Friendliness of staff and customers
🌟 Relationship building - asking questions and having ease and flow in conversation
🌟 Staff smile at you - how important is this!! Extremely important right?
🌟 Exploring the approach of how someone that was experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, ASD or any other mental health issue would feel by staff and other customers.
🌟 Quality of goods/services delivered.

I’m happy to say that the team at ticked all those boxes and more... I feel this business is worthy on a GAP Approved Business sticker for sure!

Haven’t had my hair done in such a long time... but today was the day! So when making the choice to do something about it, I’m particular!

Generating Awareness Around Mental Health

G.A.P has been created as a social enterprise with a mission to change the stigma around mental health and being able to speak out and reach out to businesses, individuals and groups who understand the needs of us all collectively. This page is a platform to share safe, trusted, respected and local (see G.A.P groups), businesses, cafes/restaurants, gyms, studio’s, classes, therapists, clinics etc, that offer an atmosphere of care, love and respect by their staff, owners and customers alike. This platform then creates a collective of individuals who care - a social responsibility with a desire to leave a social footprint that is grounded in understanding, unity and non-judgement. By being affiliated with G.A.P as a ‘G.A.P Approved’ venue (cafe, business, gym, clinic etc.) ensures that your staff and yourself have been educated around the current issues around mental health i.e. what an individual with anxiety, depression, ASD, PTSD etc., is going through and how you can be compassionate and understanding in this space. In addition, your staff and yourself are encouraged to engage in personal growth training that is invaluable.
