At Lilly Pilly, we believe that every child and parent deserve a safe and supportive environment, especially during supervised visits and changeovers.

At Lilly Pilly’s, we work with families to encourage positive interaction between children and their parents and to support the strengthening of these relationships. We believe every child has a right to spend time with their parents or significant other people as long as it does not affect their best interests. We understand every situation is very different and there is no perfect solution to the time children spend with their parents. All Lilly Pilly, staff put children’s needs first and not take sides with either parent or any other adult involved in the visits. Lilly Pilly’s aim is to always to minimise a child’s exposure to conflict or unsafe situations when parents are separating or have separated.

At Lilly Pilly, we provide safe, supported in-person supervised visits and supervised video or audio calls, helping children stay connected in a calm, child-focused environment that prioritises their wellbeing.

As well as in-person visits, Lilly Pilly provides safe, child-focused supervised video and audio calls for families who are unable to attend in person ☎️

Sessions are facilitated by trained supervisors using secure platforms (Zoom or Microsoft Teams) to ensure all contact is appropriate, supportive, and in the child’s best interests 💚

All calls are supervised in real time, recorded in line with legal and privacy requirements, and conducted under the same rules as face-to-face visits. Our role is to support positive connection while prioritising child safety, wellbeing, and compliance with court or departmental orders.

The Coca-Cola Company and Containers for Change are teaming up to fund the Give it a Go program! Lilly Pilly is in the running for a $2,500 grant this December, just in time for our Christmas Salvos Drive.

💚 If we win, we’ll use the funds to purchase gifts for families to help the less fortunate this Christmas through our Drive.

Our beautiful Daniel Morcombe Roses at Lilly Pilly, in front of our tennis court, remind us of the importance of being present and connected. This Day for Daniel, we’re focused on empowering our children with the tools they need to stay safe 🌹

Child safety isn’t about fear; it’s about empowerment. It’s about teaching them to trust their gut feeling, to say ‘no,’ to run away, and to Report to a trusted adult.

Let’s use our strong connection with our kids to open up a safe space for dialogue. Talk to your children about what a trusted adult looks like and what they should do if they ever feel unsafe, whether online or in the community. Wear Red and Educate!
