Lisa and Toni have developed a unique approach in water “Neuroaquatics”™, influenced by principles of Feldenkrais, motor learning, neuroplasticity and pain management. Lisa Gilkes and Toni Fuller are both highly skilled physiotherapists and Feldenkrais Practitioners. They have combined their wealth of experience to develop a unique treatment approach in water called "Neuroaquatics"™.This approach is influenced by Feldenkrais principles and the most recent research on motor learning, brain neuroplasticity and pain management. Neuroaquatics™ offers a dynamic, innovative and creative approach that facilitates learning and empowers the individual in their rehabilitation. Toni has a special interest in working with children with special needs and has now taken on more of a consultative role. Lisa works full time in the pool within her practice at Club Active. Whether you are suffering from chronic pain, arthritis, recovering from an injury or surgery, struggling to move after a stroke or having balance and general mobility issues, aquatic physiotherapy can help.
