Handstands are all about understanding YOUR strengths and weaknesses. Yes, sometimes having a weak core means that you can’t hold the correct hollow position upside down, BUT a lot of the time it is a mobility or technique problem!! Do this shoulder mobility test to see if it could be your shoulders holding you back!!
If you find that you can’t comfortably get into that overhead position then try adding those 3 mobility exercises in as many times a week as possible! Just use them as a warm up before you exercise.
Sets and reps:
1. 3x 10
2. 3x 1 minute
3. 3x 5 on each arm
