Welcome to our October (Sorry Halloween got in the way) "Get to Know the BYB community" featuring Cass! We've been lucky to witness absolutely incredible changes in Cass from when she first started at the studio. She completed a 30 day challenge earlier in the year and it's been a pleasure to see her dedication and hard work pay off in the yoga room ๐ Also she missed Halloween class but still got in the spirit for us with the last photo ๐
- When did you start Bikram Yoga and why?
I was stuck in a rut in 2019, working too hard, and not exercising enough. My body was a mess. Severe osteoarthritis, hard to walk, hard to sit all day long at work. Knew I couldnโt go on the way I was. so I started Bikram yoga in Canberra.And I actually hated it with a passion. But I stuck at it because I knew it was doing great things for my body.
- How has Bikram Yoga changed your life?
My body is now 80% BETTER. I am fitter. More flexible. Happier. Healthier. I look forward to my yoga session every day.
- What is your favourite posture and why?
Savasana๐คฃ dead body pose. Seriously. As itโs actually to me how to relax quickly. Some of my greatest healings have come through when Iโm lying in savasana. Other than that, probably standing bow as itโs so pretty.
