✨Clairvoyance is a French term that means “clear vision.”
It refers to the ability to receive information about a person, place, or object through inner sight.
✨This information can appear as colours, symbols, numbers, images, words, or even brief scenes.
Sometimes it’s seen with the physical eyes, but more often it’s perceived through the inner vision, or what’s commonly called the third eye, located between the eyebrows.
✨When most people hear the word clairvoyance, they picture someone staring into a crystal ball and predicting the future. And while tools like crystals can support development, clairvoyance is far more than seeing what’s ahead.
✨Through clairvoyance, you can also access information from the past, receive insights about objects or places, connect with loved ones who have passed, or even describe scenes beyond your normal physical perception — a skill known as remote viewing.
✨Interestingly, remote viewing has been studied and used by military and government organisations for decades to gather information about distant locations and events. Clairvoyance isn’t fantasy — it’s a natural human ability.
✨So how might clairvoyance show up in everyday life?
✨One common way is through dreams.
Some people experience vivid or prophetic dreams that carry strong emotion and stay with them long after waking. Dreams are also a common way loved ones in spirit connect with us, because our mind is relaxed and open.
✨Another way is through daydreaming and visualisation.
People who naturally visualise easily often have strong clairvoyant ability and strengthen it simply by using it.
✨You may also notice auras — colours or a soft haze around people, animals, or plants. Everything emits energy, and sometimes this energy becomes visible.
✨Some people see flashes of light or movement out of the corner of their eye. This happens because our peripheral vision is more sensitive to subtle energy, making it easier to perceive spirit activity.
✨Clairvoyance can also appear as orbs of light, shadows, or fleeting images — sometimes experienced as a quick “movie” or flash of information in the mind that provides insight, guidance, or clarity.
✨Many people also receive visual signs — feathers, coins, repeating numbers, moved objects, flickering lights, or meaningful symbols that catch their attention. These are often gentle ways spirit communicates.
✨So how do you develop clairvoyance?
✨Start by softening your vision.
Gently blur your eyes while looking at your hand against a plain wall and notice the subtle light or colour around it.
✨Spend time observing the energy around people, plants, animals, and nature — especially against a light background.
✨Relax your eyes while looking at a clear blue sky and notice tiny moving points of energy. This helps train subtle perception.
✨If you notice an orb or light, instead of reacting with fear, pause and ask who it is. Often it’s simply a loved one or guide making contact.
✨And most importantly — meditate.
✨Meditation is the key to developing any psychic faculty. It quiets the mind, enhances focus, and allows you to tune into subtle energy more easily. It also helps you move out of stress and into a receptive state where guidance can flow naturally.
✨Clairvoyance isn’t something special reserved for a few —
it’s a natural ability we all have.
✨ You’re simply learning to see more clearly.
