Today, on World Kidney Day, we recognise the importance of kidney health and raise awareness about preventing kidney disease within our community.
Our team is proud to facilitate studies that support the development of new, evidence‑based treatment options for those affected by kidney disease.

We are currently enrolling participants for the following two trials:
Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy (IgAN): https://www.griffith.edu.au/griffith-health/clinical-trial-unit/current-trials/immunoglobulin-a-nephropathy-igan-trial-2026

The Griffith University Clinical Trial Unit located on the Gold Coast is proud to be a trial site researching a new treatment for migraine. Find out more and register to participate on our website: https://www.griffith.edu.au/griffith-health/clinical-trial-unit/current-trials/migraine-trial

They affect up to five million Australians but migraine specific treatments have only become available in recent years. Now, a trial is underway for a medication to wipe-out symptoms of an attack.

Do you suffer from migraine attacks? The Clinical Trial Unit at Griffith University are looking for volunteers to participate in a clinical trial investigating a potential new treatment for migraines.

You may be eligible to participate if you are between 18 and 65 years and suffer from migraines. Other eligibility criteria may apply.

Reimbursement for travel related expenses is available for eligible participants.
