Post facial & I’m basically one big bliss ball 🤩✨✨✨✨⠀
⠀
Give yourself permission for self care when you feel crap AND when you feel amazing 🌟Today I’m celebrating that it’s safe to say; CELEBRATING MYSELF IS ONE OF MY STRENGTHS 🙌🏻 ⠀
⠀
A few years ago when I was doing my podcasting course with she recommended that when we launched our podcast & each subsequent episode we take the time to celebrate ourselves in some small or big way. For me I created a little ritual, on the morning the podcast was released I would simply enjoy a cup of tea, with the intention to celebrate the achievement. Note; it doesn’t matter what the ritual or celebration is, what matters is the intention behind it ✨⠀
⠀
This ritual rippled out as part of my biz/ life strategy ~ I endeavour to celebrate all the little milestones ✨ it brings meaning, joy & longevity to my biz & life! So for example with last Sunday’s speaking gig, I had already planned for some extra self care as celebration (self care = my fave way to celebrate lol)! Booking in chiro and facial plus taking myself out for a delish brunch ! ⠀
⠀
Interesting because although Sunday was a BIG day & I was tired after 🤰🏻 the energy of it completely nourished me, I felt full to the brim (thankyou for all of your amazing energy, beautiful souls that were there!) So a cheeky voice creeped in for a micro second “if you’re already feeling nourished, should you really deserve more/like maybe cancel those appts?” Haha HIIII conditioning. Interesting to notice, I believe that is part of the old outdated paradigm. ⠀
⠀
Our western culture reinforces only justifying taking care of ourselves when something is wrong. Our culture says, you can only justify spending money on health / wellbeing when something is wrong ~ anything extra is self indulgent... Eastern philosophy had it down pat ~ viewing taking care of oneself when ALREADY well as a secret to thriving. This is the core of preventative health. Anyway, that one is a bigger conversation for another day ! ⠀
