✨ When was your last “pinch me” moment?

I’m having mine right now… because this week feels surreal.

In just a few hours I’ll be boarding a flight to New York City 🌍 to join 40 incredible authors from around the globe for the Global Anthology launch — and to celebrate not just one, but two dreams come true. 💫

Alongside these powerhouse women, I’ve had the honour of co-authoring a chapter in the Global Anthology Project, compiled by the amazing weaver publisher of

This powerful global project doesn’t stop at the page — it’s also accompanied by a docufilm, with the mission to impact and inspire the world through the power of storytelling.

And if that’s not enough to make my heart burst — is a finalist in the prestigious Stevie Awards 🥂 held at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel — a red-carpet gala event celebrating voices of strength, hope, and resilience.

But here’s the real pinch-me moment…

I’m also officially launching my own book — The Rebuilt Woman — a story of faith, restoration, and the incredible journey from surviving to thriving. 💖

This book was born from years of healing and seeing firsthand the beauty that can rise from brokenness. It’s for every woman who’s ever lost herself in pain of abuse or DV— and found her power in purpose. 🌹

So yes… this season feels like divine alignment.

One voice that refuses to stay silent.

💞 Rebuilding Connection With Your Young Adult Daughters 💞

There comes a time when our little girls grow up — they find their independence, their own voice, and sometimes… they pull away. As mothers, that can leave an ache in our hearts. But here’s the truth: it’s never too late to rebuild or strengthen that bond.

Connection doesn’t happen overnight; it’s built in the quiet, intentional moments — the texts that say “thinking of you,” the coffee catch-ups, the gentle listening without correction, and the prayers whispered when they don’t see.

If you’ve walked through pain, misunderstandings, or even seasons of distance — don’t give up. Healing happens through humility, patience, and love that doesn’t demand, but simply shows up.

✨ A few ways to rebuild connection:
• Listen more than you lecture. They need safety, not solutions.
• Celebrate who they’re becoming, even if their path looks different than yours.
• Apologize when needed. It softens walls faster than advice ever could.
• Pray over them daily, and trust God to bridge what words can’t.

Recently, I created a list of conversation starter questions designed to help mothers and daughters reconnect — to spark open, heart-centered talks that heal and bring you closer. 💗
