A clean plate of organic fruit, blueberries, strawberries and a banana finished with generous amounts of fresh mint and a squeeze of lemon is a beautiful way to start the day. These foods are naturally rich in antioxidants, gentle on digestion, and support the gut and nervous system without overwhelming the body.
As a breakfast, paired with kefir, it becomes a probiotic-rich option that supports good gut health, microbial diversity and steady energy. I may also pair this with a boiled egg and soldiers, finished with butter and a pinch of Celtic sea salt, to add protein, healthy fats, and minerals to keep energy levels stable and hunger at bay. As a dessert, the same fruit drizzled with a little raw honey offers something sweet and satisfying while still honouring whole, real foods.
