Abdominoplasty with Re**us Diastasis Repair

This patient, in her mid-30s, came to see Dr Aggarwal for an opinion regarding abdominoplasty after having two children. Now that she has completed her family, she was concerned about the loose skin and changes to her abdominal contour.
On examination, there was a significant amount of excess skin in the lower (infra-umbilical) abdomen, extending laterally to the flanks, along with re**us muscle separation.

She underwent an abdominoplasty with re**us divarication repair, restoring abdominal strength and improving overall contour.

This patient of ours had a bilateral mastectomy for .

Dr Aggarwal performed a using a DIEP flap from her abdomen. This was transplanted to the chest.

The patient now has a permanent reconstruction that will grow with her, with a reconstruction that is soft much like a native breast.

This patient of Dr Aggarwal wanted a natural, symmetrical result and to achieve a C cup. At the time of surgery, Motiva Ergonomix implants were used – 175cc on the left and 205cc on the right – to create a balanced and natural look.

✨ Poland Syndrome Breast Correction Surgery ✨

This lovely patient of Dr Aggarwal underwent bilateral breast augmentation to correct asymmetry related to Poland syndrome. Motiva implants were used to achieve balance and a natural contour, with an ERSM-205 implant on the left and an ERSF-335 implant on the right.

To further refine shape and symmetry, a breast lift (mastopexy) was also performed on the one side. At six months post-surgery, the implants have settled, scars continue to mature, and overall symmetry has significantly improved.

Mode Plastic Surgery is the go to practice for reconstruction, cosmetic plastic surgery and non surgical procedures. MPS was founded by Dr Shagun Aggarwal, a Sydney plastic surgeon specialising in microsurgical reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, skin cancer and hand surgery.

Dr Aggarwal was fellowship trained in Microsurgery, in addition to Australian Plastic Surgery training, and is a member of the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.

Mode Plastic Surgery flagship centre is based in Gordon on Sydney's North Shore. Other locations include Hornsby, Camperdown, and we are opening up in Hunter’s Hill in April!
