This patient had a long-standing right-sided breast lump present since age 18. Ongoing imaging confirmed a 3 cm fibroadenoma located in the upper medial quadrant of the right breast.
After careful planning, she underwent: • Bilateral lumpectomies • Mastopexy (breast lift) • Fat grafting for contour refinement
In addition to removing the fibroadenoma, this approach allowed us to address her long-standing neck and shoulder discomfort related to breast weight and shape — achieving both medical and aesthetic improvement in a single stage.

12 weeks post bilateral breast reduction

This patient underwent bilateral breast reduction after significant weight loss following a gastric sleeve procedure.
Despite losing almost 40 kg and reaching a stable weight, breast size did not reduce with weight loss alone. Pre-operatively, the patient had DD–E cup breasts, associated with neck and back pain, recurrent skin rashes beneath the breasts, and grade II ptosis with a heavy breast shape.

At the 12-week follow-up, the breast tissue is settling well, with improved contour and relief of physical symptoms. The surgical goal was a proportional C cup, tailored to the patient’s frame and functional needs.

This case highlights that breast size and symptoms may persist despite major weight loss, and reduction surgery can provide both functional and aesthetic benefits.

Unilateral gynaecomastia

Unilateral gynaecomastia is not uncommon and can still cause noticeable asymmetry. In this case, there was residual fat and gland on the left chest. Despite regular gym training to improve chest contour, the patient was unable to conceal the difference between the two sides.

Surgery involved removal of the fat and gland to restore balance and achieve a more natural chest contour.

This patient was reviewed eight weeks after gynaecomastia correction with skin tightening.

Despite significant weight loss achieved through lifestyle changes the chest shape did not improve. On assessment, there was minimal fat in the lateral chest, but a prominent glandular component behind the ni**le, causing a herniated ni**le appearance and enlarged areolae.
