CHEERS TO 10 YEARS! A MILESTONE FOR REMEDIAL PLUS
From a humble spare room at home to a thriving clinic in the heart of Gordonvale, Tess Godfrey has spent the past decade turning a passion into a profession — and Remedial Plus into a local success story.
Tess’s journey began with a simple love for understanding how the human body works. After dipping her toes into naturopathy and quickly discovering her affinity for massage and manual therapy, she made a bold move into remedial massage. That decision led to years of study, courses, conferences — and a growing reputation as one of the most respected therapists in the region.
Now an accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner and Oncology Massage Therapist, Tess works alongside a talented team in Bryce’s Arcade. She credits much of her growth to the support of others, including the ever-encouraging physiotherapist Helen Cooper, and the wider Gordonvale community, whose belief in her has allowed Remedial Plus to flourish.
In true Tess style, she’s given back generously — sponsoring local footy, touch and AFL clubs, supporting major events like the Gordonvale and Great Pyramid Races, and donating to numerous fundraising efforts.
Tess’s work ethic, empathy and passion for continuous learning have taken her around the world — from providing massage for elite sporting teams like Tonga and Samoa’s Rugby League squads, to upskilling in Scotland with world leaders in scar tissue therapy.
