Members have been asking how to make yummy snacks that will keep you going, and also taste amazing! Its important when you are training that you not only keep up fluids, but also that you keep calories going in too... dont deprive yourself of good foods! Remember it really is 80% food (Good, wholesome REAL food) and 20% everything else. Platinum takes care of the 20% everything else, but here is a snack to help wiith the other 80%
Choc Fudge Protein Balls
(Please note this can be done in a food processor or Thermomix
250g Almonds (Blitz until resemble almond meal consistency
ADD
8 pitted dates (soaked in hot water first) OR Medjool dates pitted
2 Tbs Cacao
1 Tbs Honey or Argave syrup
dash vanilla OR Peppermint (depends flavour u going for)
Blitz until they stick together, then roll into small balls and coat in dessicated coconut - place in fridge and then eat!
