Today was all about exploring walking tracks, enjoying the fresh air, and taking lots of photos along the way 📸🌿

There’s something really nice about getting outside, finding new tracks, spotting interesting things in nature, and capturing little moments with photos.
It’s a great way to get some exercise, have a chat, and enjoy the day at a relaxed pace.

To finish off the day, we had some fun washing the car too 🚗🧽

What started as a quick clean turned into lots of laughs, water, soap, and teamwork.
It’s amazing how everyday activities like washing a car can be so much fun and also build independence and life skills at the same time.

A great day out and about, staying active, learning new skills, and having plenty of laughs along the way!

There’s nothing better than a table full of craft, bright colours, bunny ears, feathers and lots of laughter.

🌿💧 Community Access – Goulburn Waterworks 💧🌿

John recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Goulburn Historic Waterworks.

During the visit, John spent time exploring the historic grounds, taking in the scenery, and appreciating the peaceful environment.
He enjoyed walking through the area at his own pace, observing the waterworks, and reflecting on the history of the site.
This outing gave John an opportunity to step out of his usual routine, enjoy some fresh air, and engage with the local community in a meaningful way. He reported feeling relaxed, confident, and satisfied with the experience.

Experiences like this are a great way for John to build independence, connect with his surroundings, and enjoy time in a calm, low-pressure setting. It was a positive day that highlighted his interests and strengths, and he looked forward to the journey home, sharing what he noticed and enjoyed along the way.

RLC Home Support - Goulburn NSW
Before and After School Support Service

Dear Participants and Families,

RLC Home Support is pleased to offer Before School and After School Support for children with an NDIS plan who require assistance due to their disability.

This support is designed to help children safely transition between home, school, and the community while promoting independence, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.

Our support workers can assist with:
• Morning routines such as preparing for school
• Assistance with organisation and readiness for the school day
• Safe transport to and from school (where required)
• Support during transitions between home and school
• Emotional regulation and behaviour support after school
• Assistance with homework, daily living tasks, and life skills
• Community participation and recreational activities

These supports are delivered in accordance with NDIS guidelines and may be funded through a participant’s plan under supports such as Assistance with Daily Life or Community Participation, where they relate to the participant’s disability and individual goals.

Each support arrangement will be discussed with the participant and/or their family to ensure the service meets their needs and aligns with their NDIS plan.

All RLC Home Support staff hold the appropriate clearances including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Checks, and First Aid, and we follow safe transport and child safety procedures.

🚗 NDIS School Pick Up & Drop Off Service – Expression of Interest 🚗

RLC Home Support is considering offering a school pick up and drop off service for NDIS participants, and we would love to know if this is something families would be interested in.

This service would aim to support participants who may need safe, reliable transport to and from school, with caring and experienced support workers.
