Today, I want to take a moment to truly acknowledge the incredible team that makes RLC Home Support what it is.

What we do isn’t just a job — it’s heart work. It’s showing up on the hard days, the unpredictable days, the emotional days… and still giving our participants the care, respect, dignity, and support they deserve every single time.

To my amazing team — thank you.

Thank you for your patience when things are challenging.

Thank you for your compassion when someone needs that extra bit of understanding.

Thank you for your resilience when shifts don’t go to plan.

Thank you for your consistency, your reliability, and your commitment.

So many people don’t see what happens behind the scenes —
the early mornings, the late nights, the documentation, the emotional load, the advocacy, the little moments that make a big difference.
But I see it. And it matters.

RLC started small — just me, with a passion to make a difference. From those early days to now having a growing team of dedicated, hardworking, and genuinely caring support workers… I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together.

HOW RLC HOME SUPPORT STARTED

Small Family-Owned & Operated Team – Goulburn, NSW

RLC Home Support was built from the heart, with a genuine passion for helping people live independently, confidently, and with dignity.

I started this journey on my own, driven by my love for the disability sector and the people within it. With over 21 years of experience, I have worked across a wide range of supports including high behaviours, complex needs, criminal justice, and high medical care. Through this, I saw the difference that truly genuine, person-centred support can make — and I knew I wanted to create something more personal.

In the beginning, it was just me — showing up every day, supporting participants, building trust, and putting my whole heart into the work. Not long after, my sister joined me just two days a week. From there, things naturally grew through word of mouth, trust, and the relationships we built with participants and their families.

Today, we are proud to be a small, family-owned and run service, with a close-knit team of amazing women who are just as passionate as I am. What started as something small has grown into a team of dedicated, caring support workers who genuinely love what they do.

We are not a big, corporate provider — and that’s exactly what makes us different. We take the time to truly get to know our participants, understand their goals, and provide consistent, reliable supports that are built on trust, respect, and genuine care.

This is more than just a job to us — it’s something we are deeply passionate about. Every day, we show up to make a real difference in people’s lives.

☀🌦 Happy Teddy Bears' Picnic Day! ☀🌦

We have some gorgeous weather today for our school holiday story time, however please bring a blanket with you - the ground is still a little bit wet! See you soon in Belmore Park 🐻

Our teddy friends are getting ready for their special teddy bears' picnic in Belmore Park on Tuesday!
Come along on Tuesday 7 April from 10.30am-12pm for a morning of fun and fresh air in the autumn sunshine. There will be a bear-themed story time, songs, face painting, and crafts.
Bring your favourite teddy or other stuffed animal and a hat for outdoor play.
No bookings required. We'll meet you at Belmore Park for lots of ‘bear-y’ fun activities!

Position: Part-Time HR Officer
Location: Goulburn, NSW (Remote work)
Hours: 5–10 hours per week (flexible, with potential for more)
Pay: Hourly, above Clerks—Private Sector Award 2020 (Level 4–5); casual loading applies if applicable (~25% extra for casual hours)

About Us
We are a passionate NDIS provider dedicated to delivering high-quality support to our participants. Our team is small but mighty, and we value a professional, organised, and supportive HR approach to help our staff thrive.

Key Responsibilities
Manage staff files, compliance, and onboarding processes
Create and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with NDIS requirements
Support performance management, including warnings, PIPs, and investigations
Assist with recruitment, contracts, and position descriptions
Ensure compliance with Fair Work laws and NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards
Provide advice and guidance on HR matters to management

Essential Requirements
Proven HR experience, preferably in small businesses or support services
Strong understanding of NDIS requirements and quality standards
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

School Holiday Supports Available! 🌈

School holidays are coming up and we are now taking bookings for holiday supports.
We have some fun activities planned, just to name a few:
• Kids Bingo
• Day trip to a bird sanctuary
• Picnic days at the park
• Library programs and activities
• Community outings
• Life skills and capacity building activities
• Movies, baking, art and craft days

Spots are limited during the school holidays and bookings are essential.
