Today we were proud to be part of Goulburn’s International Day of People with Disability celebrations - a meaningful chance to stand alongside our community and champion inclusion.

Rotarians Dina, Kelly and Yenny were out in full spirit, connecting with locals, sharing conversations and showing what Rotary’s service-above-self looks like in action.

It was a great day to celebrate the strengths, stories and contributions of people of all abilities in our region. Here’s to building a more inclusive Goulburn, every day. 💙✨

⛳️ What an incredible Rotary Charity Golf Day!

With a full card of players and a huge wave of community spirit, we’re thrilled to share that we raised just over $20,000, with every dollar going straight back into local charities and community projects.

💜 On Friday, our community came together to send a strong message to End Domestic and Family Violence - a powerful reminder that every step, every voice and every show of support matters.

We’re proud to stand alongside local services, advocates and community members to help shine a light on safety, respect and change. Supporting initiatives like this is central to Rotary’s commitment to care for our community and champion those who need it most.

It was a pleasure to feed the community also, and to see the great show of support from NSW Police Force Academy students.

✨ Guest Speaker Spotlight: Liz McKeon – Endeavour Industries✨

Last week we welcomed Liz McKeon for an insightful overview of Industries Goulburn, a local organisation creating meaningful employment for people with special needs for more than 50 years. With 38 supported employees and 22 staff, they operate across five business arms including recycling services, secure shredding, packaging work, and a busy laundry and ironing service.

Liz also shared their next major project: preparing 1,000 show bags for the Show, filled with donated items to help raise funds to support their ongoing programs.

We finished with an engaging Q&A and a small token of thanks from Rotary, along with a donation of $100 to Rotary's End Polio Now campaign from the Club in Liz's name.

A wonderful presentation and a great reminder of the impact strong local organisations have in our community.

What a moment! 🎉🐴

Last week we were thrilled to present a $25,000 donation to Goulburn Centre RDA NSW – an incredible organisation changing lives through horse-assisted therapy and activities.

RDA Goulburn is powered entirely by volunteers who care for the horses, support the riders and create a safe, joyful space for people living with a wide range of disabilities. Their impact on confidence, mobility and social connection is extraordinary.

Their recent presentation to our Club was heartfelt and inspiring, and it was clear just how much they’ve achieved since 1979, and how big their vision is for the future.

This donation is our way of saying thank you for everything they do and backing them as they continue to grow and support our community.

As Rotarians, we’re passionate about strengthening our region and supporting the people and organisations who make Goulburn a better place for all. From youth programs to community development, events and hands-on projects, our Club is proud to give back wherever we can.

Well done to President Jo, Treasurer Kim and the whole team at RDA Goulburn. We’re proud to support you. 💙💛

Second last Market before 🎅 arrives, so come on down, shop with our fabulous local and regional stallholders.

Growing Abilities Goulburn are cooking up a storm on the bbq, and Hume Conservatorium are on the tunes. What a line up!

See you in Montague Street from 8.30am. ☀️

Stallholders - we have a long waiting list in place, so if your plans have changed and you can't come, let us know ASAP or you may not get a site for December. We try and be as flexible and accommodating as possible, but we can't keep being disappointed by no-shows, while others don't get the opportunity to get a site.

💙 Caring for our community

Earlier this year, the Rotary Club of Goulburn was pleased to be able to support people experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping through the provision of sleeping bags - a small gesture with a big impact during the colder months.

We were recently joined by Toni Reay from Anglicare, who spoke about the important work they do supporting vulnerable people across our region, and thanked Rotary for our continued care for community.

It’s a reminder that together, we can make a real difference. 💛

🌟 Supporting our youth!

The Rotary Club of Goulburn is proud to have sponsored Dylan and Larry to attend RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment) this year. 🙌 Both gents happily spoke to the Club about their experience and thanked us for the opportunity.

RYPEN helps young people build confidence, leadership skills and teamwork through an inspiring weekend of activities and connection.

We love supporting youth programs that help tomorrow’s leaders shine! 💛💙
