Southern Tablelands Veterinary Hospital Goulburn

Southern Tablelands Veterinary Hospital Goulburn Our Veterinary Hospital provides modern, professional and affordable health care for your pets in our purpose built animal hospital.

We aim to make your pet feel at ease in our hospital with a caring and gentle approach to treatment and consultations. Our Veterinary Hospital has been an integral part of our local community for years. Clifford St Veterinary Hospital was first established in 1973. In that time, we’ve helped thousands of our clients cats & dogs. Being so strongly integrated with our local community is important to

us and our clients. Our customers know by experience that they can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options and that their pet is in the very best hands with our team. We know that helping our clients starts with providing a good understanding of health care issues and treatment options. With good advice and professional recommendations, you’ll be well equipped to make the best ongoing health care decisions for your pet.

The closure of the Goulburn Correctional Centre would be devastating for the Goulburn community.
If you can, head down to Belmore Park today to show your support.

This Thursday I am standing in solidarity with and am rallying to support our Goulburn Correctional Centre community from what will be a catastrophic loss to the prosperity of our town if the proposed wing closures go ahead.
The Goulburn Correctional Centre has been a part of the Goulburn Mulwaree fabric and identity for over 142 years. My late Grandpa personally served there for over 20 years.
If this forced closure goes ahead, 137 full-time jobs, 35 casual jobs, 12 contractor jobs and approximately $20M from the local economy will be lost forever. Let that sink in.

Anoulack Chanthivong please re-consider this decision and know we won’t be giving up this fight anytime soon.

Big congratulations to an incredible achievement! 🎉🐾

Today we’re celebrating Bri completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing!
A huge milestone that reflects dedication, compassion, and countless hours of hard work. From caring for patients to supporting their owners, your passion for animals and their welfare really shines though.
To help Bri celebrate on Thursday one of our nurses made a large batch of scones with plenty jam and cream to go round😋

We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll continue to do in the veterinary world 💕🐶🐱

To all vets near and far, thank you for everything you do to keep animals of all shapes and sizes happy and healthy 💕🐈

On Anzac Day, we pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served, both human and animal. From a veterinary perspective, we also remember the horses, donkeys, dogs, pigeons and other animals who worked alongside troops, offering loyalty, transport, communication and companionship in the hardest of conditions.
Today, we pay tribute to their service and reflect on the enduring bond between people and animals.
Lest we forget.

In honour of National Veterinary Receptionist Week, we want to give a special shout out to Rhiannon who keeps our clinic running smoothly.

Rhiannon is the face of the clinic and keeps a fresh, warm and welcoming energy.
While we are grateful to have a number of nurses who are also amazing at reception, having a dedicated receptionist is amazing!

Rhiannon is kind, caring, super organised and has become quite famous on our social media!
We thank Rhiannon for ensuring our clients and their pets feel seen, heard and truly cared for when they need it most!✨💕💐

Thank you to Beks Bloomz for the most beautiful flowers!

With the cold weather setting in, its time to start thinking about our older fury family members.🐾

Physical changes to older pets can happen before our eyes but can also happen gradually and can sometimes be missed, this can lead to potentially needing more care, they can still be full of life, willing to learn new tricks, go for walks in the sunshine and do zoomies around the house, they however may need some help with some additional pain relief to keep these activites going.

If your dog or cat are showing any of the signs listed below feel free to give us a call 48211966 to book an appointment to see one of our vets. 🐶🐱
