SJ Mind Body Wellness is a female only online 6 week accountability program with a focus on nurturing your relationship with yourself, movement, nutrition & most importantly your mindset to help you achieve your health & wellness goals. I have wanted to create a program like this for a long time and now it has all come together. I have been a personal trainer for almost 20 years and my passion is helping others to make a positive change in their lives. I believe you’ve come to this page because you want results, you want direction and you want someone to lead you through all the confusion that of what to eat, when to eat and how to train. Are you wanting to increase your fitness levels or change your shape? Are you feeling tired stressed and lacking energy? Or maybe you just want to feel good about yourself? I specialize in training women and my style is unique in that I don’t solely focus on fitness, I believe in looking at the whole picture. Beginning with why you haven’t achieved your results in the past, your nutrition, which is 70% of your results and your mindset which is essential for permanent change and lasting results. No more yo-yoing in weight and eating habits. Change for good! I can tell you from personal experience what it is like to lose more than 25kg twice. I gained 20kg in my first pregnancy and proceeded to lose 30kg afterwards. During my second pregnancy I gained another 25kg and lost it all within 9 months. My mindset changed and it has changed for good, I have been on the rollercoaster too but I can honestly say that I am off it for good now and I’m here to show you how! I will guide you through the program by encouraging you to push your beliefs about what you think is possible. Not just with your training but where your thoughts go when you think about reaching your goals. There was a time I believed discipline was the answer.

Be good
Be strict
Push harder
Earn your food
Never mess up

And for a moment it worked… until it didn’t.

Because I wasn’t learning how to support my body
I was learning how to control it

The day everything changed was the day I stopped trying to shrink myself and started trying to support myself

I began feeding my body like someone I cared about
I moved because it made me feel alive, not smaller
I let go of the rules and built trust instead

And that is when everything shifted

More energy
More confidence
More peace with food
More freedom in my life

Diets did not give me that
Self trust, nourishment and consistency did

If you are tired of fighting your body… you do not need another plan

You need a gentler strategy
A kinder voice
A lifestyle that loves you back

Self-trust is the missing skill no diet ever taught you.

You can follow rules perfectly for a few days or weeks.
You can restrict.
You can push yourself.

That is not long-term success.
That is control, not confidence.

True freedom comes when you trust yourself to choose what you need… without the fear of “messing it up.”

When you know one chocolate does not turn into ten.
When you stay connected instead of giving up.

Ever felt like you were doing so well on a diet… until one treat made you feel like you ruined everything?

That isn’t a lack of willpower
That is the diet mindset talking

Diets put you in a box
You are either on plan or off it
Good or bad
Winning or failing

And the second real life happens
A birthday
A glass of wine
A slice of cake
You suddenly feel like you broke the rules so you may as well start again Monday

That is not your fault
It is the system

Ever noticed how a diet always has an end point?

You are either on it or off it.
Winning or failing.
Being good or feeling like you messed up because you had one treat.

That is the trap.

When you have to “come off” something, your brain learns nothing for real life. Then the guilt hits, the all or nothing thinking kicks in, and suddenly it feels like you have broken your diet so you may as well start again Monday.

You have not broken anything.

There is nothing to fall off when you build a lifestyle.
A way of eating that fits your life.
Room for joy, treats, balance, and flexibility.
Structure without punishment.
Self respect instead of self control battles.

You do not need another diet.
You need a way of living that supports you forever.

Nourish your body.
Trust yourself.
Build habits you can keep.

This is where freedom lives.

Every action you take is rooted in a belief.
If deep down you believe you always fail, your brain will find ways to prove it.

But if you start believing you’re learning, growing, and building trust with yourself, your body follows that story too.

True change doesn’t come from punishment, it comes from compassion.

When you stop treating your body like the enemy and start listening to what she’s been trying to tell you the biggest shifts happen, your mindset, your habits, your energy all change!

Healing happens when you choose respect, patience and consistency over criticism and quick fixes.

It's not the big moves that change your body, it's the small things you do every day!

This has been a big conversation with my clients this week.

Everyone wants big results, but your body and nervous system don’t change through extremes, they change through safety and consistency.

Small wins done over and over are what actually rewire your brain.

Getting your steps in, drinking your water, hitting your protein, going to bed earlier.

They might not feel exciting in the moment, but these are the actions that build trust with yourself.

Every time you follow through, you teach your body, I’m safe. I can do this.

And that’s where momentum comes from, not from motivation, but from stability.

Stop chasing massive change and start celebrating the small wins.

Because when you stack them up day after day, that’s when everything shifts and your confidence, your energy, your results.

For so many years, I thought body love meant liking what I saw in the mirror.

That if I could just look a certain way, I’d finally feel enough.

But body love runs so much deeper than that.
It’s about appreciation.
It’s about respect.
It’s about coming home to yourself exactly as you are, while still creating space to grow.

Loving your body doesn’t mean you never want to change it.

It means you stop abandoning it every time you don’t like what you see.

It means feeding it because you care, not because you’re trying to fix it.

Resting when you’re tired, not punishing yourself for being human.

Moving because it feels good, not because you hate yourself or need to burn something off.

Your body is your home.
She’s carried you through every season, every heartache, every comeback.
She deserves your compassion, not your criticism.

And when you begin to treat her with love and respect, everything else in life starts to shift too. Your energy, your confidence, your choices.

Because true body love isn’t a destination.
It’s a relationship. 💛

I didn’t find fitness to look good, I found it when I was trying to heal.

Growing up, I was teased about my body.
I had what people called puppy fat and I never really felt good in my body or about myself.

When I was 19, I had a tumour removed and that experience changed everything.

My rehab started in a gym and for the first time, I felt what my body was truly capable of.

I felt strong, empowered and alive.

That’s where my love for health and fitness began and I’ve trained ever since.

But the older I’ve gotten, the more wisdom I’ve gained.

I’ve realised it was never really about chasing the perfect body.

It was about healing the relationship with myself.

I started listening instead of forcing.
Noticing how my body responded to stress, rest, food and movement.

I learned that she’s always been communicating, I just wasn’t listening before.

Now I move because I get to, not because I have to.
I eat to nourish, not to punish.

And I honour my body for everything she’s carried me through, not just how she looks in the mirror.

That shift from control to connection changed everything.

When I started my business, my passion grew even deeper.

I saw so many women struggling the same way, feeling disconnected and at war with their bodies.

Now I help women reconnect, build self worth and achieve their goals in a way that feels freeing and real.

Because when you learn to love, listen and respect your body, everything else begins to fall into place. 💛
