🌙✨ Ramadan ✨🌙

From everyone at Barrymore Medical Centre, we wish our patients and community a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.

If you are fasting this month, a few health tips to help you do so safely:

• Stay well-hydrated between Iftar and Suhoor
• Choose balanced meals with slow-release foods to keep your energy steady
• Avoid overeating at Iftar — eat slowly and mindfully
• Get enough rest and listen to your body
• If you have a medical condition or take regular medication, speak with your GP before fasting

Your health always comes first. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need advice or support during Ramadan.

Wishing you a month filled with peace, reflection, and good health 🤍

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month – a time to raise awareness about the symptoms and importance of early detection. Ovarian cancer often presents with subtle signs like bloating, abdominal discomfort, or changes in appetite. At Barrymore Medical Centre, we encourage women to listen to their bodies, seek medical advice promptly, attend regular health checks, and keep up with Pap smears. Early detection saves lives, and talking openly about symptoms can make all the difference.

Regular health checks and participating in recommended screening programs can help detect cancer early, when treatment is most effective. At Barrymore Medical Centre, we support our patients with cancer prevention advice, screening, and ongoing care. Today, we stand with individuals, families, and communities affected by cancer and encourage everyone to prioritise their health.
