Wild Hearts Kids Yoga

Yoga classes for kids aged 3-12 years. Playful and fun yoga and mindfulness classes that promote physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Each class will cover breathing exercises, warm ups, yoga shapes, games, relaxation and closing circle. Benefits of yoga for kids:

Help your child with stress and anxiety
Support them to become more resilient
Improve physical and mental fitness
Increase self awareness
Tools to recognise and self regulate their emotions through life’s ups and downs
Have a positive effect on behaviour
Space for reflection, patience, and being in the present moment
Plant the seed with your child to grow healthy lifelong habits

About me:
I am a local Greenwood mum with two daughters aged 2 and 4. I completed Children’s Yoga Teacher Training in December 2021. I cant wait to share Yoga with your children and make a difference in little lives, one breath at a time.

Unfortunately I haven’t held any classes over the past few weeks as I haven’t received enough bookings to hold a class. (Minimum of 4 required to cover cost of hall hire).

I am wondering if it’s the day, the time or just that it’s towards the end of the year (and it’s a busy time of year!)
Whatever it may be, I would love to hear your feedback as I may be able to accommodate suggestions for other days or times.

In the meantime, I am going to work towards running classes in daycare centers, OSH club vacation care and in local schools.

I do love doing after school classes though as it means my two girls can come along and do the classes with me which they really love so I will also plan to advertise after school classes in the new year from February 2023.

After a long break due to covid and the wintery weather, I am very excited to be starting classes again next week!
I have secured an indoor location and will be doing an 8 week term of classes.

Unfortunately I have been unable to hold classes for last few weeks due to the change in the weather 🌧 🌧🌧 and also so many people being unwell including myself.

I will be looking at some indoor venues over the next few weeks and provide an update if I can find something suitable that I can use over the winter months until the weather improves again in spring and we can return to the park.

The rain was so on and off yesterday.
Sunny one minute, raining the next.
But it looked like the weather had cleared so I set up on the grass only for it to start raining heavily just when we went to start!
We moved under the veranda of the building and still managed to hold our class, we even saw a beautiful rainbow 🌈
