As part of our school holiday program, we welcomed Uncle Allan to the Youth Safe Space for a smoking ceremony 🔥
Staff and young people from Griffith, Hay and Lake Cargelligo came together, with the space, staff and youth all cleansed, creating a powerful moment of reflection, respect and connection 🤎
Uncle Allan shared wise yarns, advice and history, with our young people listening deeply, engaging and showing strong respect throughout 🙌
Youth also had the opportunity to get hands-on, working with ochre and supporting the smoking ceremony alongside Uncle Allan 🎨
