To mark Kidney Cancer Awareness Month and National Close the Gap Day, Griffith AMS Youth Services are giving away a Closing the Gap Wellbeing Hamper packed with goodies that support health, hydration and looking after yourself and your mob. 💧

Loaded Fries + Trivia Night 🍟🧠🔥

Friday Drop In was all about good food, laughs and a bit of friendly competition. Young people put their knowledge to the test with rounds like Scattergories, music, finish the lyrics, sports and Australian trivia.

We mixed the night up with a quick King of the Court basketball tournament before jumping back into trivia, with each round crowning a winner who took home some chocolate 🍫🏆

A deadly night of connection, laughs and good vibes at the Youth Space 🙌🏽✨

🔥 April School Holiday Program is here!

Griffith AMS Youth Services has a big week planned for Aboriginal young people aged 12–17 including a hospital tour, health workshop, pasta making class, our Youth Week Dream. Dare. Discover scavenger hunt and a drop in day at the Youth Safe Space.

More detailed flyers and registration info for activities that require bookings will be released over the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our page 👀

Come down to the Youth Safe Space, build your own loaded fries and test your trivia knowledge for a bit of friendly competition 🎉

The Bidgee Boys were out and about today getting things started for our upcoming graffiti art project 🎨

The young fellas headed to Bunnings to grab supplies before cooling off with a frozen drink 🥤 Over the next few weeks they’ll be designing and painting their own boards, which will be installed outside near the yarning circle at the youth safe space.

Bidgee Boys Aboriginal Young Men’s Group is all about empowering brotherhood, culture and community for young Aboriginal men aged 12 to 17 ✊🏽🖤💛❤️

Community Breakfast Week 3 💙

Great to see over 30 kids and adults come down to 3 Ways Mission this morning for Week 3 of our Community Breakfast. Even with the drizzle around, it was deadly to see people still showing up to start the day with a feed and a yarn before school and work.

Our Community Breakfast is open to everyone and is all about making sure people in our community can start the day with a good breakfast and a friendly catch up.

Big thank you to Presto Cleaning and Lanhams Motor Group Griffith & Leeton for your support and donations that help make these mornings possible.

To honour Women’s Week, the Nancy Blumer Memorial at Neville Place will be glowing purple each night this week (2nd - 8th Mar) from 6pm–11pm.

We’d love to see our community head down, take a look and celebrate the amazing women around us 🥰
