PATIENT FEEDBACK SURVEY RESULTS
Dear Patients,
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for completing our Patient Feedback Survey. Your insights are invaluable to us as we strive to enhance the quality of care at our medical centre. Feedback plays a crucial role in helping us identify areas for improvement, and we genuinely appreciate your contributions.
As many of you know, we recently took over the practice, and we are committed to providing you with the highest standard of care. However, we recognise that some of you have expressed concerns regarding our doctors’ familiarity with your medical history. We want to assure you that our doctors are dedicated to getting to know you and your health history better, and we encourage you to share any important details during your visits. We have transitioned to electronic medical records and now have a merged database with Griffith Medical Centre. This means you can attend each practice (Driver Medical Centre, Griffith Medical Centre, Hanwood Surgery) and have up to date medical information available.
We also acknowledge that you may have experienced longer wait times for appointments and during visits. This is partly due to our doctors taking the necessary time to understand each new patient’s unique medical history and needs. We appreciate your patience as we work through this transition.
In addition, we are currently undergoing an accreditation process that will enhance our services, including extended availability for appointments in the coming months. We are excited about these improvements and are committed to ensuring that your experience with us is as smooth and efficient as possible.
On a positive note, we are pleased to report that we scored over 75% in patient satisfaction across all areas assessed. Our highest scoring areas included the interpersonal skills of our reception staff, the effectiveness of our appointment reminders, and the interpersonal skills of our GP’s. This is a testament to our dedicated team, and we are proud of the service we provide.
