Protect Your Workforce This Flu Season! 💉💪🏼🩵

Flu season is just around the corner, and Prime Care Doctors is preparing to support our community and local workplaces once again.

As soon as our flu vaccine stock arrives, we will be running dedicated flu vaccination clinics across all three of our sites:

▪️Griffith Medical Centre
▪️Hanwood Surgery
▪️Driver Medical Centre

We will be offering both private and government-funded flu vaccines, with private vaccines competitively priced at $20 per vaccination (additional fee applies for on-site workplace visits).

To make things even easier for businesses, our nurses are available to conduct on-site workplace flu clinics, helping reduce disruption, minimise sick leave, and keep your teams protected throughout the season.

Prime Care Doctors is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive and experienced team.

We are a well-established and growing group of accredited general practices serving the Griffith region, including:

Across our practices, we provide comprehensive, patient-centred care at every stage of life - including chronic disease management, preventative health, immunisations, women’s and men’s health, procedures, and aged care support.

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse passionate about developing or advancing their career in primary health care. You will work closely with our GPs and allied health team, with opportunities to build autonomy and expand your clinical skillset.

Experience in the following areas is desirable (training provided for the right candidate):
• Assisting with procedures and excisions
• Wound care and dressings
• Immunisations (childhood & adult)
• Chronic disease management & care planning
• Health assessments
• ECGs & spirometry
• Infection control & sterilisation
• Patient education & preventative health

About You:
✔ Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Ability to work independently and within a team
✔ Positive, proactive attitude
✔ Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

FREE JAPANESE ENCEPHALITIS VACCINE 💉🦟

All people who live or work in Griffith and are aged 2 years and over are eligible to receive the FREE Japanese Encephalitis (JE) vaccine under the current vaccination program.

Japanese Encephalitis is spread by mosquitoes, and vaccination is a simple, effective way to help protect yourself, your family, and our wider community.
