Imaging is generally used to rule in/out a serious injury (eg. Fracture) or clarify an injury if progression is not as expected 🤔

Ligaments attach from bone to bone and help to keep our joints from moving into harmful positions. This diagram shows 3 ligaments that are found on the outside of your ankle - ATFL, CFL and PTFL. These ligaments are commonly injured when you “roll” your ankle.
