Absolute Care For You

Absolute Care For You Absolute Care For You supports you through personalised care coordination for your support at home funding. I grew up in a family that cared for others.

We assist with daily supports, designing your care plan, ensuring you feel informed, and empowered to choose services that suit your needs. I started 'Absolute Care For You' in September 2022, when I saw firsthand a need for consistent in-home support services for seniors in my local community. My ahh, ahh moment came to me while watching the documentary 'Everybody's Oma'. Oma was a lady living with a diagnosis of dementia and the documentary follows her family's journey caring for Oma. In one scene the family struggled to find external carers to attend their home. In this moment I realised I needed to make a career change and become that carer that would offer absolute care to my client's. My family background has been an inspiration for my caring nature. My parents looked after an elderly friend in our home and later cared for their parents. We would often go to friend's homes to help them in times of need. My parents were very caring and giving of their time. They were also foster parents to many children. I now have two sisters that came to live in our home, one aged 7 and the other aged around 6 months at the time. Our family of 6 became a family of 8. During research to start my support care business 'Absolute Care For You' I discovered an opportunity to become a care coordinator partnering with Trilogy Care, to offer seniors who have Home Care Package funding, assistance to navigate the My Aged Care application process and organise the care services and support they require and choose for their individual needs. I'm so excited to offer my Gympie community and the surrounding areas my services and expertise. I look forward to assisting you all as the need arises in your life. Much love Judith.

Here is a post with some very important information about how to prepare for your My Aged Care assessment or level upgrades under the Support at Home Program.

ℹ️ The assessor needs to gather information about your care needs. If you tell them about your best day they can only report on how well you are doing.
✅ The assessor needs to know your worst day so they can justify why you need the support at home funding to support your care needs and safety at home.

Preparing for your My Aged Care assessment? How you approach your assessment matters, and can affect the level of care you can access through Support at Home.

Here are the most common mistakes to avoid:
💛 Downplaying your needs — this isn’t the time to “push through” or say you’re fine if you’re not. If they can't hear your needs, they can't allocate funding for them.
🩵 Only describing your best days — this funding is for your most difficult days. Asking for help is not showing weakness.
❤️ Forgetting everyday struggles — difficulties showering, cooking, cleaning, mobility and memory all count here. Write a list before your assessment so don't leave any of them out.
💛 Not mentioning safety concerns — falls, fatigue, confusion or missed medications are important pieces of your care puzzle. Share them, no matter how insignificant they may seem.
🩵 Attending alone if you feel unsure — a family member or support person can attend your assessment and help you formulate your plan for the day. Have multiple conversations and write down any notes so that nothing is forgotten.

Your My Aged Care assessment can feel like a daunting experience, but with a plan and an honest account of what life is like for you right now, you have the best chance of receiving the most appropriate funding for your circumstances.

Did you find this helpful? Share it with someone who is considering a Support at Home application.

🏡✨Helping Seniors Stay Safe and Independent at Home ✨🏡

Check out some of the modifications that can be funded through the new Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme. Did you know that this new scheme provides funds specifically for modifications & equipment, so participants do not need to use their core, daily care budget for these items.

Key Details to note:
• Funding Tiers: Low (Under $500), Medium (Up to $2,000, and High (Up to $15,000 for modifications)
• Eligibility: Determined through a My Aged Care Assessment. Terms and Conditions apply

Small changes at home can make a big difference for older adults. Simple modifications can help seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently—right where we all love to be. ❤️

Some smart updates include:
🚿Grab rails in the shower, toilet & stairs
🚪 Wider doorways & ramps for mobility
🚽Raised toilet seats & shower chairs
🍴Assistive products for eating and drinking
🚨Personal alarms (Fall detection)
🦽Mobility aids eg. Wheelchair, Walkers, Scooters

These updates not only prevent falls and injuries, but they also make everyday tasks easier and reduce the need for moving to assisted care. A few thoughtful changes can mean years of independence and peace of mind to you or your loved ones.

We’re here to help and look forward to hearing from you

🩵Ageing is a different kind of beauty — softer, deeper, and earned.🩵

Every year adds wisdom, strength, and stories that shape who we are. The lines, the silver strands, the quiet confidence — they’re proof of a life lived. Growing older isn’t losing youth; it’s gaining perspective, peace, and power.

Every line tells a story 🤝

Hands that have worked hard, held others close, and shaped a life well lived.

At Trilogy Care, we believe independence isn’t about doing everything alone — it’s about having the right support, at the right time, in the home you love.

Because care should always start with respect

And be shaped around your life, your way.
