We are so excited to finally share a little project we’ve been working on behind the scenes… 💙

Thanks to the incredible support and funding from Gympie Music Muster, we have just completed a massive print run of our Finding Hope children’s books, and 9,609 books will soon be making their way to childcare centres right across regional and rural Queensland!

We're excited to launch The Hope Collective, a partnership program with child care centres across Australia. Watch this space for more information....

We are so grateful to the Gympie Music Muster community for making this possible. Together, we are continuing our mission of Stamping Out SIDS - one book, one family, one centre at a time. 💙

We feel incredibly grateful and honoured to have received a beautiful gift for our families from River's Gift 🩵

Thanks to their partnership with the Gympie Music Muster, our centre has been gifted copies of the children’s book Finding Hope — one for every family in our community.

As early childhood educators, the wellbeing and safety of babies and young children is something very close to our hearts. River’s Gift is Australia’s only charity dedicated solely to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) research and education, and we are proud to share this meaningful resource with our families.

If you are able, we would love for our families, community members, or anyone who feels moved, to return their generous gift by making a donation to River’s Gift. Every contribution helps continue their vital work supporting families and funding research.

Thank you, Ocean Life Education, for such a wonderful visit! We loved exploring and gently touching the sea animals while learning all about them. Listening to the shells, reading the books, watching the baby shark, and meeting the turtle made the experience extra special.

🌼 Sharing the Heart Behind How Children Learn 🌼

One of the things we value most at Uniting Early Learning is the way our community grows through shared ideas. The conversations, the wondering, and the gentle reminders of why early childhood is such a meaningful place to be.

That’s why we’re so glad to let you know that Geordie Honeybrook, our Area Manager of Pedagogy, will be sharing some of her reflections with us here on our page from time to time.

If you’ve ever met Geordie, you’ll know she brings a calm curiosity and a deep respect for children into every space she enters. Her writing holds the same spirit thoughtful, grounded, and full of heart.

She’ll be offering glimpses into the thinking behind our everyday practices: how play opens possibilities, how provocations invite children to lead their own learning, and how documentation can quietly honour their voices and experiences.

These pieces aren’t about programs or checklists; they’re about people. Children, families, and the educators who walk alongside them.

We love that we get to share this with you, and we hope her words spark moments of reflection, connection, and maybe even a little inspiration. ✨
