💜 NDIS Update: New Pricing Arrangements for 2025–26

The NDIA has released the updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025–26, taking effect from 24 November 2025.

These updates are designed to make pricing clearer and easier to plan around — giving participants, families, and providers more time to prepare.

What’s changing:
✔ New price limits for Art and Music Therapists
✔ Updated claiming guidance for ‘Other Professional’ supports
✔ Removal of the COVID Addendum
✔ Updated Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) calculator
✔ Revised Modified Monash Model classifications
✔ New Operational Guideline for Therapy Supports

These changes help ensure NDIS pricing remains transparent, sustainable, and aligned with current policy and practice.

The NDIS has officially updated the term Short Term Accommodation (STA) to Short Term Respite, reflecting its true purpose — providing participants with a supportive break while their informal supports rest and recharge.

Why? Many were built far from services, in areas where people don’t want to live. The gap between builder decisions and participant needs is growing.
