What a fantastic day!

Our 25th birthday celebration on Thursday was filled with friendly faces, fun on the spinning wheel, and lots of excitement choosing from our huge range of frames.

Tomorrow is our 25th Birthday Celebration!!
Join us on Thursday 4 December at our Hamilton store as we celebrate 25 years of caring for our community’s eyes.

Here are some behind-the-scenes pics of our preparations for the big day:

We’re proud to share Glenn’s acceptance speech after being awarded the 2025 Best Rural Placement Practice by the University of Melbourne’s Department of Optometry & Vision Sciences.

This award recognises our ongoing commitment to supporting students, providing hands-on learning, and helping develop the next generation of optometrists.

Thank you to the University of Melbourne for this honour, and thank you to our amazing team and students who make this work so meaningful.

Lovely catch up at the Howell home this week 😊

Former team member and optometrist Chris Law popped in with his wife Amanda and their adorable twin girls. Now based in Geelong, Chris is lecturing and researching in Optometry at Deakin University.

We were also joined by Deakin student Zainab, currently on placement with us, a great chance to connect past and future clinicians.

With the exception of specialised overnight lenses, contact lenses should not be worn while sleeping.

Most contact lenses aren’t designed for overnight wear. Sleeping in them can reduce oxygen supply to the eyes, increasing the risk of infection or irritation.

Always remove your contacts before bed, unless your lenses are specifically approved for extended wear.
