Do you think eating healthy is too expensive?
I hear this all the time and I get it, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
I made 80+ meals for harvest for $330, that’s less than $4.15 per meal.
Swipe across to see exactly what I did. Let’s stop saying healthy eating is too expensive. It can be done and its a nonnegotiable for our health.

Who says harvest has to mean giving up the meals you love?

One of the easiest ways to keep everyone fuelled (and happy!) during long days in the paddock is to rework favourite family dinners into practical, fork-only harvest meals — and yes, even a classic Sunday roast lamb can make the cut.

With a little planning and some clever prep, those slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth flavours become the perfect comfort food on the go. It’s hearty, nourishing, and keeps energy up when the days feel never-ending.

I’d love to know what “normal” meal have you turned into a harvest-friendly favourite? Drop it in the comments so we can all get inspired!

Let’s talk about what a realistic, balanced harvest meal actually looks like because it doesn’t need to be fancy, complicated, or “perfect” to fuel you well.

A balanced plate is simply protein for steady energy, veggies for fibre and nutrients, and carbs to keep you going through those long hours… and yes, sometimes that carb is corn chips. And guess what? That’s completely okay.

When you’re in the thick of harvest, practicality matters more than perfection. If you’ve got a decent protein source, some veggies, and something that keeps you full you’re doing better than you think.

This is your reminder that nourishment doesn’t have to look Instagram-worthy to count. It just needs to work for your life.

Keeping your harvest team fuelled doesn’t have to be complicated.

Simple, hearty meals go a long way. Hidden veggies, a batch of bolognese ready to go, slow-cooked roasts, and staying one step ahead can make the busiest weeks feel easier.

Your crew doesn’t need fancy, they need full bellies, steady energy, and meals that keep them going.

If you want more ideas to make harvest cooking lighter, comment or DM HARVEST and I’ll send you my FREE Healthy Harvest resource with 29 quick and easy meals.

Keeping your energy steady through harvest isn’t about doing more, it’s about supporting your body smarter. That’s why I lean on a personalised supplement stack during this season. With a business to run, a busy toddler, and long days ahead, I need to stay clear, calm, and energised… without burning out.

Right now, my focus is all about mitochondrial support, stress balance, and mental clarity and each supplement in my stack plays a specific role in helping me feel grounded and capable when life ramps up. But here’s the thing: no two bodies are the same. What works for me won’t necessarily be what you need.

If you want to feel your best this harvest (without wasting money on things that aren’t right for you), book a Supplement Strategy Session and get advice that fits your season, your symptoms, and your lifestyle.

Have we reached a whole new level with the whole high protein craze?!
Don’t get me wrong, protein is so important, I’m all about high protein BUT is this product already naturally high in protein, does it need a high protein label on it?

Testing yes or no
It’s maybe not a simple answer but I believe we need to always weight up the cost vs benefit when it comes to functional testing. Plus we cannot disregard the skills we’ve learnt as naturopaths through investigative questioning to mind map what is going on in the body.

I think testing is great but it’s not always essential.
