Have you noticed your child 'toe walking'? A professional assessment is recommended, as early intervention can help prevent potential complications such as tight muscles, contractures, and issues with foot and ankle alignment.

At ECM, our Physiotherapist Aaliyah, assesses toe walking by looking at muscle strength, range of motion, and gait patterns, while also considering any sensory or processing factors that may be contributing.

From there, she create a tailored exercise program focused on stretching, strengthening, and gait training to support more efficient and comfortable movement.

Bridie is a highly experienced, passionate, and committed clinician who has a strong commitment in supporting individuals to live meaningful and fulfilling lives, in the presence of client’s deficits, disorders, injury and/or illness. Her work focuses on adapting tasks, building skills, and modifying environments to support participation and engagement in everyday life.

Bridie takes a person-centred approach, valuing each individual’s uniqueness to guide therapy goals and interventions.
