Join Us for Our End-of-Year Celebration Lunch

Thank you to everyone who has already RSVP’d — it’s going to be such a lovely way to wrap up the year together. Here are the details:

Venue: Sons of Mary, 14 Spink Street, Brighton
Date: Friday, 13 December
Time: 12:00 pm
Cost: $40 per person (2 course shared lunch, subsidised by Beach Yoga)
Drinks (tea, coffee, wine, etc.) can be purchased separately.

End of Year Celebration: Let’s Celebrate Together

As we approach the end of the year, it’s a wonderful moment to pause and reflect on what we’ve shared on the mat. Week after week, we’ve shown up, breathed, moved, softened, and connected - with ourselves and with each other. These small moments of practice add up, and together they shape the journey of a year. Thank you for being part of this community and contributing to the warmth and support we all feel in the space of yoga.🧘‍♀️

Join Us for a Celebratory Lunch

To honour the year and the practice we’ve shared, we’d love you to join us for a relaxed end-of-year lunch on Friday 12 December, after the final Friday class.

We’ve booked Sons of Mary, Brighton at 12:00 pm. More details will follow shortly, but for now, please save the date and text me on 0416 030 087 to let me know if you’ll be attending - this will help us plan.🙏

Hope you’re all soaking up this beautiful spring weather over the Melbourne Cup long weekend, wherever you may be!

Just a reminder that there will be no yoga class Monday 3 November 2025.
Classes resume on Wednesday 5 November 2025 with Gentle Therapeutic Yoga.

It’s been such a joy guiding the Wednesday Restorative Yoga sessions while Nicole has been away in India, reconnecting with the true roots of yoga in its birthplace. She’s been immersing herself in the traditions and spirit of yoga and we can’t wait to welcome her home and feel that inspiration flow into her classes.🧘‍♀️

As we head into the lead up to Christmas - that familiar whirlwind of to-do lists, celebrations and full calendars - it’s more important than ever to keep up your yoga practice. Your yoga mat is your anchor, a place to pause, breathe and stay centred when life starts to spin faster.🧘‍♀️

A Heartfelt Thank You & A Warm Welcome Back 🌸

As my time covering classes for Patricia comes to a close, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to each of you who have joined me on the mat these past weeks.

It has been such a joy to share the Elements of Nature series with you all. Your energy, openness, and commitment have made these classes so special.

This week will be our final class together.

We’ll celebrate the journey with a soulful, joyful all-rounder class designed to leave you feeling open, uplifted and deeply connected. I’d love to see you there for one last practice together.

I’m excited to welcome Patricia back from her adventures in beautiful Greece! She will be returning to guide you with her wonderful teaching, and I know she’s looking forward to seeing you all again.

This week in our Elements of Nature Slow Flow Series, we explore the Air Element (Vayu), the energy of lightness, breath, and freedom.

In this class, we’ll gently open the chest, shoulders, and side body, moving with soft spirals, flowing transitions, and expansive breath to help you release tension and reconnect to a sense of spacious ease.

Are your shoulders tight? Breath shallow? Would you like to feel lighter, calmer, and more open?

Come and create some space in your body. Let’s let go of the dark heaviness of winter and cultivate feelings of lightness and open-heartedness, like a fresh warm breeze has passed through.
