Harden Grange Aged Care Community

Harden Grange Aged Care Community Proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance This country-style community is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home.

Proudly providing quality aged care to the Hilltops Region

We know that continuing to live in this beautiful region is important to locals. That’s why Apollo Care is committed to supporting Harden Grange to become a valued aged care community where residents feel they belong. We offer around-the-clock nursing care with specialised expertise in high care, dementia, palliative and respite care. At Harden Grange, residents are supported to maintain their interests, routines, and connections to loved ones and familiar surroundings. As part of the Apollo Care Alliance, Harden Grange will benefit from industry-leading care governance, the latest care technology, an award-winning culture program, and a continued emphasis on quality care, kindness and dignity. A culture of caring that puts residents first

Apollo Care supports older Australians to live their way, with grace and dignity. Our national alliance supports not-for-profit aged care communities across New South Wales and Queensland. With a strong focus on regional areas, our specialist expertise helps communities like Harden Grange thrive. We are excited to offer locals the opportunity to stay living in this beautiful region in a welcoming environment that feels like home. Creating a true sense of home

To offer a more personal living experience, Harden Grange is divided into four households where residents share a country-style living room. Your light-filled private suite, complete with its own ensuite, can be furnished and decorated as you like. Each room opens onto a garden courtyard or veranda with sweeping views of the picturesque surrounds. Carers who get to know you well

Our Carers and Nurses focus on you as a person, getting to know your story, likes and routine. On-hand 24/7, they provide a holistic care experience tailored to your needs. With specialist expertise across all aspects of aged care, including personalised care, dementia and palliative care, infection control, and respite care, they support each resident with kindness and compassion. Design your own day

Just like at home, you decide how you’d like to spend your day. When you rise, eat and shower is up to you, and you’re supported to keep doing the things you’ve always enjoyed, like watering the garden, visiting the hairdresser and continuing your interests. There’s no set visiting hours, so you can welcome friends and family whenever you like. A flexible approach to home-made meals

When it comes to food, there’s plenty of choice – just like home. Everything is freshly made in our own restaurant-style kitchen, and our menus offer variety and family favourites. You can choose when and where you eat your meals, and our kitchen staff can make you and your visitors a snack or drink at any time. Respite care offers families short-term relief

Harden Grange offers short-term aged care in private suites. This can provide much needed support for families caring for their loved one at home, especially when they require additional care for an illness or injury, or at holiday times. We care for respite guests with low care or high care needs.

Yesterday, there was a VERY special milestone celebrated at one of Apollo Care's 14 aged care communities. Yackandandah Health Aged Care resident, Edith, turned 110! This birthday makes her the oldest woman in Victoria. Edith enjoyed the morning's festivities surrounded by many of her children, grandchildren and extended family, fellow residents, staff, and local community leaders, Diane Shepheard and Geoff Simmons. Edith is an incredible lady who definitely still shines brightly! ⭐🎂 🥳 🎉 Watch this WIN News report: https://ow.ly/Syvs50XcSgB

A huge congratulations to one of our incredible volunteers, June, who recently won the 2025 Central West Emergency Volunteer of the Year award! At an incredible 90 years of age, we're so lucky to have June dedicate her time at Harden Grange, alongside many other wonderful organisations. This is very much deserved, and we are so proud of June's incredible achievement! 👏

Last week, we hosted a Pyjama Day to help raise awareness, funds and resources for children in foster care and in support of Harden Grange resident Sandra, who has fostered 100s of children over her lifetime. 🫶 Staff and residents dressed up in their favourite PJs and had a wonderful time!

As proud members of Apollo Care, we are delighted to announce that late last week, Board members of Quirindi Care Services (QCS) voted to join our Alliance. QCS’s not-for-profit aged care community, Eloura, near Tamworth, has been caring for locals for the last 50 years but has struggled to remain financially viable in the increasingly challenging regulatory and operating environment. Eloura will become the 14th community to join Apollo Care, and like all the communities in our Alliance, we will protect its name, purpose and legacy, while investing the capital and systems needed to ensure it remains sustainable for generations to come. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19QsnAkYVr/

The three things Stella loves doing to stay connected to the people and places she loves:
1️⃣ Shopping – the fortnightly trips downtown mean I can catch up with people I’ve known for many years.
2️⃣ Scenic drives on the bus – I so enjoy the beautiful countryside, the paddocks, sheep, cattle and bright yellow Canola fields in Spring.
3️⃣ Knitting for charity – I love to knit and I love to help! I knit squares that are made into rugs for people in need by the Wrapped with Love charity.
