Are you an experienced carer or are willing to undergo training to pursue a career in aged care and disability? We are seeking to hire home care workers to join our team at Flexible Care who provide in-home care services to people of all ages and abilities in Harden and its surrounding villages.
We pride ourselves on deliverance of exceptional services to our care recipients to enable them to live their best possible life, at home for as long as possible.
To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
· Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services
· Current Driver's License and a Registered/insured motor vehicle (some use of your own vehicle is required)
· Police records check and a Working with Children Check
· Willing to work flexible hours on a fortnightly rotating roster
· Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android)
· Current First Aid/CPR certificate
Your Responsibilities:
Support Workers will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments;
· Personal Care: provide personal cares which includes assistance with dressing, grooming, showering, bathing, toileting, nutrition and eating.
· Domestic Assistance: Provide light housekeeping duties which includes; cleaning, meal preparation, ironing and laundry.
· Transport: Facilitate community access, recreational, shopping, errands, attending appointments and leisure options
· Social support: Engage in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions.
· Respite Care, Medication Prompting & Meal Preparations
