The Up UP Toastmasters Club's 201st Meeting, themed "Melodramatic," kicked off with great energy and welcomed our lovely guest, Sanshea. Everyone embraced the theme in their introductions, table topics, mini speeches, and formal presentations. It was a productive session where all members had the opportunity to share their thoughts.

Highlighting our achievements, we proudly celebrated receiving the Gold Retention and Growth Award for the 2024-2025 Toastmaster year! We're incredibly proud of our club, which continues to thrive after 200 amazing meetings.

Join us for our 202nd meeting on December 6th, 2025, at Harris Park Community Center! Don't forget to bring a guest, as we have exciting activities planned. Arrive 15 minutes early to soak in the warmth and generosity of our wonderful members. See you there!

This was Jenni's first time as a contestant at an Area Contest. She finished the day extremely happy with placing 2nd for her Humourous Speech and 3rd place in the International Speech contest.

Today's morning tea at the Up Up Club Meeting had an Easter and Anzac focus.

It was lovely to see the team effort of providing morning tea for everyone by our new members Angellica and Anthony, along with our longstanding member David.

January Meeting - Saturday 18 January 2025

Members and Guests were treated to a wonderful last meeting for 2024 at Up Up Toastmasters this morning.

"Giving back to each other and community" was today's theme 🫶

As is becoming a Christmas tradition for Up Up, a gift hamper created by members containing an assortment of goodies (food, toys, toiletries, etc) was gifted to Harris Park Community Centre to pass on to families in need within the local community.

Ramzi gave all in attendance the beautiful gift of 'Kindness'. A gift inspired by Margaret's interactive and inspirational Keynote speech which captured everyone's attention.

It was lovely to meet with our Divisional Director Natasha Thornton and chat with her during today's morning tea. When addressing members Natasha took the opportunity to present achievement awards to Up Up's President Sarah.

On behalf of Up Up Members and Executive Officers we wish everyone a safe and joyful Christmas and New Year. We look forward to you visiting our Club in 2025 and invite you to join us on Saturday 18 January for our first meeting of the new year.
