Deanna shared this fantastic moment — Mark Owen came so close to knocking all the pins down… just one left standing!

It’s these moments that spark joy — the laughter, the cheers, and the shared excitement that bring everyone together. 😊

Getting out, having a go, and celebrating every win (big or small) is what it’s all about.

✨ A Moment Worth Celebrating

Sometimes the most powerful moments come from simply being yourself — and Sophie showed us exactly that. 💜

While visiting the National Gallery of Victoria – Let’s Party: Fashion for Kids exhibition, Sophie made the dance floor her own.

Set to “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga, she confidently took to the disco floor in her wheelchair — embracing the moment, expressing herself, and having so much fun.

Her joy was contagious, and it was incredible to see her assert herself, shine, and fully enjoy the experience.

A big 💜 shoutout to Deanna for capturing such a beautiful and empowering moment — thank you for sharing this with us!

Moments like these remind us that inclusion means creating spaces where everyone can participate, express themselves, and feel celebrated.

Let’s celebrate Sophie and her amazing energy! 💫

Sometimes the most helpful NDIS tip is simply knowing where to look when you have questions.

Whether you’re a participant, family member, or support worker, there are some great free resources that many people don’t realise are available:

💜 NDIS website – Simple guides about understanding your plan and using your funding
💜 Disability Gateway – Connects people with disability to services, advocacy, and community supports
💜 Carer Gateway – Offers free counselling, coaching, and respite resources for carers

Even experienced participants check these from time to time — navigating supports can be a learning journey for everyone.

When someone says they’re not OK, it can feel confronting - and that’s normal.

Your role isn’t to fix their situation. Just listen, try to stay calm, and show you care. A small moment of support can make a big difference.
