Life being a mum has been the most incredible, rewarding and hardest thing I’ve ever done. The smiles that fill your heart, the cries that break it, all the learning and teaching and bonding that is irreplaceable. It was nothing like I expected, more wild, more challenging and more heart fulfilling than I ever dreamt of.
But SO. MUCH. LEARNING. Learnings I’d love to share as a mum, and as a health professional. Finding how connected mums are to one another is like I’ve unlocked a secret level in life. The mum community is so incredibly special. And I want to foster those connections, help other mums thrive, and therefore their babies thrive.
Having gone through quite a few complications in pregnancy and in the newborn phase myself I’d love to help anyone that goes through challenges that impact on their eating, physical activity and lifestyle. If you have:
• gestational diabetes
• pre-eclampsia
• complications during pregnancy that require lots of bedrest such as cervical incompetency or pelvic girdle pain
• trouble with milk supply
• babies with allergies / intolerances that impact the mums diet
• struggling with your post partum body
• and anything else that impacts a mum’s mental health such as postnatal depression, DMER symptoms, etc.
