It’s so beautiful to just be amongst the tree’s in nature - acknowledging their stature, their wisdom, all the gists they give us. In my work as a Craniosacral Therapist I often imagine the strength and stillness of the tree trunk - it’s rather like our spine. It’s very grounding to be able to connect in with the trees. To be present with the trees we can access our inner quietness and stillness. Try it yourself- sit in the garden, a local park or an area of forest and just sit with the tree’s. 🌳🌴

Spending time in nature - appreciating its beauty, breathing in the fresh air, feeling your feet connecting into the earth, giving us the opportunity to slow down and connect to our dynamic stillness.
As a biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner we are helping clients reconnect with their own dynamic stillness. It’s a gentle touch therapy that helps the client to become more embodied. Most of us spend a great deal on time in our heads or disconnected to our bodies, usually as a response to life events! This gentle therapy helps you to reconnect at your own pace.
For more information on how this therapy can help you or your family members send a message. Enjoy your week 🙏🌻🌳

I’ve just returned from an incredible 4 day post Grad course for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in New Zealand where the richness of the land, the generosity of our hosts, beautiful fellow participants and the wisdom and facilitation of our presenter was inspiring. Thank you Rielle Friedrick from health in motion.
In health Amanda 🌷🌳🏔️🌄

Connecting to the land and being in nature is so resourcing- it helps us to slow down, ignite our senses, be in the moment. On this lovely walk we observed many kangaroos eating, sleeping and enjoying the sun and then they all suddenly hopped away looking over their shoulders and sure enough there were 3 wedge tail eagles 🦅 gliding just above us all - so . It was fascinating to observe and witness- so grateful to live here on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.

I love this quote from Eckhart Tolle - had to share 💕
"Sometimes surrender means giving up trying to understand and becoming comfortable with not knowing." - Eckhart Tolle

I just love bee’s and get so excited to see them in our garden. We try to plant according to what will attract more bee’s and help feed them as their numbers have declined so much over the years. So thoughts to bee mindful of 🐝🐝🐝

Hi 👋👋👋 I’m Amanda.
It was during the early years of my career in the media and music industry that I realised there must be another pathway! Dealing daily with stress, anxiety, never-ending deadlines, budgets and large personalities led me to explore and then study alternative ways to find health and balance in everyday life.
Cranial Sacral Therapy is such an incredible modality, and I love to work hands-on in a clinical environment where I can offer clients the time and space to really connect with their own bodies in a deeply supported way, and help them find their balance within.
I am also pleased to be able to offer treatments here in Chiton and monthly at Somerton Park.

This is a hard truth - I’ve witnessed it so many times working in allied health and palliative care, where people keep putting off their dreams and goals… waiting for that “right time” or the someday maybe in the future. Putting things off until one day our time has run out. Embrace each day, acknowledge how you feel and set about doing one thing that you really want to do(not should do or have to do) it can be as simple as sitting in the sunshine sipping your cuppa. Watching the waves crash onto the rocks- whatever it is do it mindfully, be present to the experience- feel the sun warming you, breath the fresh air. Take time for you - you are worth it 🙏💕

Welcome to my health & wellness page. I’m Amanda and I love to share knowledge and information to help people live happier and healthier lives. All my life I’ve been passionate about the environment and working towards creating balance to our inner worlds and the beautiful planet we share.
I spent many years working in the media on radio, TV, advertising and Music industry here and in the UK. It was through my own stress that I realised I needed to make some changes in my life to create some balance, so I started having Natural therapies to help, doing yoga, Qi Gong and studying massage and that was just the beginning of the path to Health & Wellness.
When I became a Mother my children’s health was the most important thing, so I only used products that were gentle on their skin, non toxic and gentle on Mother Earth. It was through this I have learnt so much about what is in products we consume everyday!
The products I use as a Practitioner and a Mum are the best that I’ve found and are of the highest quality. I know how hard it is to discern between one product and another, so I’m happy to share what I found along the way.
As a Cranial Sacral Practitioner & Health Coach, I love to connect with people on a deep level, creating a healing environment for clients to feel safe in. I’ve been a practitioner in Natural Therapies for over 28 years, predominately as a Cranial Sacral & Flower Essence Therapist and Facilitator of Massage & Mind Body Medicine courses. I’m soon to be a co-author for a book called “The Anxiety Relief Handbook”, where I will be sharing tools and insights into how CST is able work with reducing anxiety levels. I worked in Palliative care as a therapist for over 7 years and that has given me huge insight into anxiety and many health conditions and the opportunity to work alongside an incredible team of Allopathic and Allied health Professionals.
I was drawn to Craniosacral Therapy in the 90’s and studied some of this work then. However, it wasn’t until 2015 I decided to undertake a 2 year Diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy through Body Intelligence – an Internationally recognised training organisation.
I can honestly say, I’ve found what I am meant to be doing, I love this work and what it offers, and I’m excited to be able to offer these incredible therapies, together they support and compliment each other.
Once I started on this journey towards health and balance I have come to realise that there is a life time of learning and sharing ahead.... I hope you can join me as we travel on the road to health & wellness.
Yours in Good Health
Amanda
I help people suffering with chronic stress & trauma to release the holding patterns in their bodies, so their nervous system can remember how to relax, allowing them to be more comfortable, peaceful and free from restrictions (limitations?) both mentally & physically, without having to re-live the original trauma.
