The theme of this mornings incursions - each one of us are a sacred sews within the diversity of mother earths forest 🌳 each deserving the right environment and relationships to thrive and flourish… to grow exactly as nature intended, knowing that we are already splendid - just like that forest… because we are that forest!

It is so important that children trust their innate wisdom, the embodied knowledge and cellular memory ✨

Wayapa provides a platform for children to playfully ingrain their importance, celebrate necessary uniqueness, and be seen, heard and valued for exactly who and what they are 🙏🏽🌱

Each seed from the one tree is never the same as the next, so why would we be any different? That’s what makes the world grow so beautifully and how it’s mean to be 💚

A windy Wayapa morning called for me to shake things up in my incursions 😆Wayapa is designed for children to trust the needs of their body therefore environment, and move WITH it… therefore even though this morning I had some plans in place, the children decided what they needed and it was my responsibility to respond!

So we got out the drum and percussion and played and danced our way through the sun… honouring all of our different emotional states, which are as normal as our seasons! Because we are made of the same Star dust as that sun! 🌞so listen to your body, and move that electricity called lightning, because guess what? We are that to!!

Oh but dont forget the important lessons from our Land (animal) friends, who had the sacred task of teaching us about how to treat the land, share, hunt and gather…. And have fun!

A morning so well done, to all the precious little children of Mother Earth, showing us the way! ❤️💕

The word “wind” translates to “spirit” in Latin, which is what the English language is derived from… and when the seasonal winds change or are about really change, our spirit therefore feels irrelevant… children are so much more interconnected than us adults, they remember they’re original place 🌱so giving the body an opportunity that dance and move with what the spirit is feeling or needing is a sacred space… to be seen, heard and valued, just as they are… no matter the wind - turbulent or gentle breeze… all of it needed, for the world and our spirits, to be 💚

t won’t be necessarily what we say or do, it’ll be how we are and how we feel - the telepathic communication/empathetic resonance of neuro diversity/divergence 💚

I will bring my interventions, props and strategies, but what these children thrive within the most is the authentic and honest belief in them and the stories they’re retelling, trusting their own unique intelligence… the cellular memory and wisdom…

We will sit together, move, integrate, share, converse and connect… and the truest form of growth relies upon our reciprocation of unconditional positive regard and the absolute knowing of the truth within their metaphors and stories told through their art, play, movement and nature play….

It’s within understanding the roots of neuro diversity, that our forest grows….

As a Dance Therapist I “read” the language of the body, understand it’s story and attune to the needs therefore reciprocation….

Neuro diverse children, will do the same, to me!!!

It’s how nature works… everything in nature attuned to each other within this fashion, it is our biology!

ND hasn’t forgotten, and that’s a previous gift in this world, where the need for interconnectedness should be at the forefront of everything 🙏🏽💚

Celebrating seasons at this mornings childrens incursions ❤️

Honouring the Wurundjeri season is not about teaching culture as that’s not my place; it’s about honouring relationships and reciprocation…

It’s about being present to where we are, therefore attuning the parasympathetic nervous system that’s responsible for love, empathy, compassion, kindness, imagination, creativity, ingenuity…

We honour all the other creatures who rely on how we cycle WITH the environment, mirroring and appreciating… learning from and becoming responsible carers…

That’s the greatest gift ❤️

The first crescent moon, the Ostara moon 🌙 there is something that feels holy in her midst tonight, like a crown being placed upon the alter of earth, echoing life from the darkness of before… an uncoiling to meet, Her sister stars so perfect… a dance of celebration, of what’s grown from love and patience 💕

A very grateful woman I am, for a very blessed birthday with the ones I love 🥰💕today I felt compelled with a very important lesson to match the wisdom of the fresh white hairs I woke up with 😆👩🏽‍🦳see the life that still lives in front of you, with you ❤️at a time that is so sad for so many good reasons, see whatever still grows… whatever is love, grow it… even when it’s the hardest, feel that too… I woke with the song of birds and completed with laughter and blessed food with my children, I am so grateful 🙏🏽grow this, so everyone can be loved❤️
