Did you know you can request repeat prescriptions and referrals online through our website? It’s a quick and convenient way to get repeats without the need for a consultation with the doctor. Repeat prescriptions and referral generally take 2-5 days to be completed, depending on doctor availability. This service will incur a fee from $29.21.
It is important to effectively manage your prescriptions to ensure requests can be made on time, as urgent requests incur an additional fee.
If you have any questions about this process, visit us or call the practice.

World Cancer Day is an international day observed every 4 February to raise awareness about cancer, encourage its prevention, and mobilise action to address the global cancer epidemic. The 2 year long campaign (running 2025-2027) “United by Unique” emphases the importance of prioritising person-centered care and treating patients as more than their diagnosis.

It’s been a hot summer, and we still have a month to go. During this time, it is important to take action during hot days to prevent heat-related illnesses.
This is especially important in people more vulnerable to these, such as; older people, people with existing medical conditions, outdoor workers, babies and young children, and pregnant women.

The best ways to keep yourself safe include
- Use air-conditioning or electric fans
- Wear light, loose-fitting clothes.
- Avoid being outdoors in the hottest part of the day as much as possible. If you have to go outside, seek shade or shelter.
- Close curtains and blinds to block out the sun.
- Spend time in the coolest area of your home.
- Limit physical activity to early in the morning when it is coolest.
- Wet your skin with cool water using a spray bottle or a damp sponge or cloth.
- Place cool packs or crushed ice in a damp towel loosely over your neck and shoulders.
- Take cool showers or baths, or sit for a while with your feet in cool water.
- When it becomes cooler outside, open your windows and doors to allow warm air out and let the cool air in.
