We understand that it can be disappointing when you're unable to book with your preferred GP. To help meet patient needs, we’ve increased the number of urgent appointments available each day. These are triaged by our clinical team based on medical urgency, rather than on a first-come, first-served basis.

In urgent situations, you may be advised to:
Visit your nearest Emergency Department or Urgent Care Clinic, or
See the first available doctor at our practice.
Even if this isn’t your regular GP, all our doctors have access to your medical records and can provide safe, effective care. You’re welcome to follow up with your preferred GP when they’re next available.

Additionally, each doctor maintains a waitlist, which is managed by our reception team. To ensure fairness for all patients:
Please call reception if you need to change an appointment between family members.
If you need to cancel an appointment, we’ll do our best to reschedule at a time that suits you.
Cancelled appointments will be offered to patients on the waitlist.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide timely and equitable care for everyone.

If you take a regular medication that requires a prescription from your GP, it’s important to keep your scripts up to date. You can easily request renewals online.

Just visit our website, select ‘Book Online’, then ‘Repeat Prescription’, and follow the prompts.

Please allow up to one week for your doctor to process your request, so it’s best to apply while you still have a few days’ supply left. Urgent requests are available if needed, but an additional fee will apply.

World AIDS Day is held every year on December 1. It is a day to remember those who have died from Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-related illnesses, and to show support for people living with HIV. In Australia, it is a day for the community to:
Show their support for people living with HIV
Raise awareness about prevention, treatment and care
Combat stigma and discrimination around HIV
Remember people who have died of AIDS-related illnesses.

If you want to help fight the stigma, remember those who have lost their life and support those currently living with HIV/AIDS, you can:

As we head into summer, sun safety is more important than ever! Continue to slip, slap, slop, slide and seek especially when the UV is higher than 3 or you are outdoors for extended periods of time.

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is the major cause of skin cancer, which is the most common cancer diagnosed in Australia. UV radiation can also cause sunburn, tanning, premature ageing and eye damage. Cancer Council recommends checking UV levels on the free SunSmart app or Bureau of Meteorology website to apply and reapply sun safety principles as necessary.

World Diabetes Day is celebrated annually on the 14th of November, each year with key campaigns and messages. This year there are three key messages:
1. Diabetes challenges at work: 430 million people living with diabetes are of working age. In the workplace, they face challenges such as stigma, discrimination, exclusion, anxiety and lack of access to care and support for their well-being.

2. Unhealthy work environments: Many workplaces are an unhealthy environment for employees. The lack of access to physical activity, healthy food choices and support for mental well-being is harmful for people at risk of diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.

3. Do more for diabetes at work: Employers must take action to create a safe, supportive and healthy work environment for people with diabetes and those at risk. Support our call to ‘know more and do for diabetes at work.’
