Leanne competed in the ICN QLD State Championship on the weekend, unfortunately she didn't place but she is a winning client and the true definition of a sports model; she is a runner, she plays Footie, competes in Crossfit, and now bodybuilding. The competition was fierce, but she walked on stage with a class and grace.
It's a subjective sport and judged much differently than playing a game with a clear indication of the winner...the one with the most points, right? Unfortunately, it's not that simple in bodybuilding. It's a subjective sport, your putting yourself in a row full of women who had their own journey to the stage, their own obstacles to overcome, and their own confidence to be put in front of a panel of judges and a packed audience only to be judged on their appearance. All of those woman did what most can't or won't do. Leanne was amongst the stars π.
She's a wife, a mother, and she works full-time. Finding the balance to fit in bodybuilding prep is a challenge in itself. Her first attempt to the stage was delayed due to Covid19, then we throw in a move, an injury, children with busy schedules, and a wedding. She is incredible, she kept her sights on that stage. This was a goal she was determined to see all the way through.
I'm really honoured to be her coach. She is such a gem. Always positive (even when she is critical, she always sees the light), determined, and honest. I'm really proud of her and I had so much fun with her backstage. Thank you for the incredible experience of helping you create your path to the stage. You continue to amaze me.
