Schedule / Create time for you, especially after a long day/week at work. So that you can listen to what your body / mind / heart is telling you. It speaks to you. Address them… once you start to listen… you become aware. Once your awareness is awaken, it is a signal to put a plan in place to action it…You matter… body, mind and soul… they work in complete harmony… 🙏

My connection with yoga:

How do you lead your body to do a certain posture or movement when there has been no pathway or roads leading to it. ( no prior experience or learning, or the way there has been lost.) Do you simply say no it is impossible, and walk away from it or do you work it in your mind, how to take the next step forward to overcome the mental and physical barriers piece by piece, brick by brick….
You lay down every single pebble, every inch of the track.
It all starts in the mind…building and layering every small foundation till it gets you there.
It helps with problem solving, patience , resilience, perseverance, consistency, willing to test your boundaries and go that inch further. It makes you face your deep rooted fears, brings awareness to your strengths and explores your weaknesses one by one. It is not an easy or fast road, but the rewards are priceless. It is not a fad… you earn it with every layer you build within yourself. It makes you humble, to work with you, and not your ego.
It is a daily meditation as you explore what your mind, body and breath can do on any given day. It builds physical and mental strength and allows you to open up ( mobility) to new possibilities. Work with that, surrender to it. You cannot go wrong.🙏
