Packing sand gone so hard it required the jack hammer! Pipes on this pool to be replaced to rectify a small leak - perfect job for the little 1.7t digger today - the first day of summer in the rain 🤷‍♂️

Another productive day today thanks to the kind weather. Knocked over 2 more jobs. Front fence in Coongulla all done - pup will be happier having a big front yard to run around in now, and finished off installing the bollards to protect the generators at the Heyfield hospital

Got a bit done in between the rain, wind and sunshine in Coongulla. Got started on this fence (finally) thanks again to
my clients for their patience.

Ground is still too soft to finish off a couple of drivways but perfect to ram posts. Finally got around to punching some posts in for 2 very patient clients who have been on the waiting list for a while. One in Traralgon on the river and the other in Heyfield. It was a good feeling ticking them 2 off the list!

And 3 more loads of fill to Rosedale just finished off now - before the rain comes back again tomorrow 😩.

Why clip the plain wires to the pickets??
Some clients ask why do they have to pay a bit more for a bag of clips when we can just pull the plain wires through the holes in the pickets?
Well this is exactly why. We built almost 2.2 klms of this 6 foot mesh fence on one property to keep the Roos from getting in.
The tree limb flattened the fence by pulling the clips out. Once the tree was relieved from the fence it bounced straight back up where it was.
A few new clips and bingo - fence as good as it was before the incodent.
Imaging how much work would have been involved if we just pulled the plain wires through the pickets 🫣💰.

Crazy busy day today - it’s like the silly season has begun early!
Driveway repair - literally just that. We understand christmas is just around the corner so saving money where you can is important.
Ripped the pot holes, spread a load of 20mm crushed granite over the areas to be repaired and rolled in.
4 Semi loads ( almost 100tonne) of clean fill loaded and carted to Rosedale,
Slashing also happening today along with another grave at the Heyfield Cemetery.

Man this weather is making it hard to get work done - although we definitely need the rain, it’s playing havoc with us!

Finally could get back to cover this new drive in Heyfield we dug out last week with 62 tonnes recycled concrete, spread and shaped - but won’t be rolling until it has dried out underneath. Got a bit spongy as the posi worked its magic is some spots drawing the moisture up to the surface.

Nice usable driveway leading down to the back garage 👌
