When the body is experiencing high levels of stress, you could experience an increased amount of pain.
The nervous system sends information down well-worn ruts of a previous injury site - rolled ankle 10 years ago for example and you will notice a flare up of symptoms and pain. Yet the ankle is no longer broken.
This is a clever way for the body to process too much stress. It is a flag that you need to manage this. That your body is struggling.
