The swarm has officially arrived in Florida! 🐝

With the International WASZP Games just days away, over 50 of the world’s best foiling sailors have taken to the emerald waters of Pensacola Bay to find their gear, test the thermal breeze, and stake their claim before the main event.

The Pre-Games started with sailors hitting the water today in some light but foiling conditions. The breeze was great, and the race committee managed to deliver three races for all fleets.

In the 8.2 division, Matteo Chaboud is leading with two bullets and a third, while Antonio Gasperini is second, six points behind, tied with All-Star Hippolyte Gruet.

In the 7.5 division, All-Star Champion Pearl Lattanzi is leading the pack, with Norway’s Martinius Melleby Hopstock in second. USA’s Casey Small completes the podium.

In the 6.9 Division, Francesco de Santis is leading.

What's next?
The Swarm stays in Pensacola for the 2026 WASZP Games from March 22nd–28th. Don’t miss the biggest one-design foiling event in North American history!
