✨️Balyang Santuary Yoga is coming back!
Spring is around the corner woo hoo! With some nicer days coming our way let's get back to Balyang!
Keep an eye out for upcoming classes as it will be weather dependant at this stage. I'd love to have classes on weekends too this time around! If you wish to be notified directly with an SMS for upcoming classes (as they will be sporadic) send your number through DM!
have loved the opportunity to hybernate and relax during winter and do other fun things, but I cannot wait to share what I have learnt post balyang through yoga, meditation, music and movement.
It's been an incredible journey to say the least, and I am very excited too see you all soon!

Story of the Bukka
I was reminded of Bukkas last week as I was checking out some coastal caverns and chasms.
Bukkas are in the same kind of realm of fairys. They are hobgoblins from European folklore. They are hairy, very strong and stand taller then humans. Bukkas habitats are grottos, chasms, dark cavities and so on ( like the place I was exploring). Unlike the cliff I sat on for a coffee break (I knew the earth was moving so didn't feel at ease lol), the cavens felt safe and peaceful.
Bukkas have a reputation for being trouble makers towards miners. I can understand why. The Bukkas love their homes and miners come in and take away essential minerals ect. They don't kill the miners, just play around by causing a little havoc lol
To appease the Bukkas, miners learned to give them human food and alcohol. Win win!
An easy way to feel more connected to the land and sea and their stories and wisdom is to give back to them by picking up any rubbish you see and try not to disturb anything as best you can. Slow down your activity, take breaks and you'll surely discover how connected we all are. Happy adventures! 💫💫💫

Hot off the press! Brand New Yoga Class.
My other You Tube class received over 1k views... usually have an average of 20 lol Must be the Magic of Yoga as I have no idea about You Tube algorithms. This class is fairly dynamic with 4 fun inversions to help warm you up 🌅⚡️🔥🔥
Planning on a more gentle class very soon for thoes of us with a stop/start practice x

Notice how calming it is to watch and listen to water.... even via video.
I do this when I am unable to get out and about. My 4 year old is unwell again, so I've hit the nature You Tubes and documentaries again! Has an amazing effect on the happy chemicals in our bodies... just like being there! Well almost 😉😀

I love my beat up old black Ute! It looks a tad out of place in Highton 😂 but recently when I went to Apollo Bay I noticed all the locals were waving to me! "Hey Bob!" 👋 "What's up Freddy?" It reminded me of growing up in small country towns. I loved being regarded as a local to Apollo Bay ! Love that place! The small businesses have really struggled during Covid. It's really quiet this time of year. So please consider a road trip one day soon 🙏

Have you ever noticed the faces in the cliff rocks at Pt Addis? Magical place.
William Buckley used to hang out here with his
indigenous family. They looked after him as he was on the run from authorities. Amazing story 🖤💛❤

All names will be changed. It's just a matter of time. Our new generation coming up are ahmazing 👏. So in the meantime, here is another meaning of ADDIS...

Locals told me a couple of whales 🐋 were passing by The bluff ... heading near St Leonard's! Heaven really is a place on 🌎 earth .

After years of thinking about it, I recently went to a writing course (was amazing, totally recommend) and it made me realise how similar our stories are 🥰.... I can see how so many of us ATM are creating new lives.... in particularly (cause so much shizz has gone done of late) a lot of us are connecting with like minds and reconnecting with fun and our inner child.
Today I'm up a tree (and writing this lol) . The Gum tree has grown in such a way that provides kids with an insanely fun swing! I went as far as I could! Need longer legs 🤣
My sister is off roller skating today, (cant wait to do that soon too)... what fun things have you been up to lately? I'd love to hear about your fun adventures!
