New options for anaphylaxis treatment are on their way. No more needles may be an option that immunologists offer. The Neffy device has been introduced into our training. Is your organisation ready?

Individuals at risk of anaphylaxis and their carers are encouraged to speak with their treating doctor to discuss which adrenaline device best meets their needs .

Marking the first major development in anaphylaxis treatment in more than 30 years, neffy® gives those at risk of anaphylaxis another treatment option. It's a single-use nasal spray containing one dose of adrenaline, suitable for those aged 4+.

PRIORITY POPULATIONS | Kristina Mullins, a nurse practitioner, is at the forefront of a mobile health service in Hobart that’s making a difference for people experiencing homelessness.

By providing essential healthcare and access to medications at no cost, Kristina (pictured below) and her team (including Conor Lavelle, also pictured) are breaking down barriers and helping vulnerable Tasmanians prioritise their health.

Moreton Group Medical Services seeks applications to lead our non-emergency patient transport and events teams. This role oversees all tasks and activities associated with Moreton Group's state-wide non-emergency patient transport (NEPT) and event health functions, including, but not limited to, recruitment, staff management, compliance monitoring, learning and development, service quality, communication, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and equipment management. The role also provides clinical consultation and support to on-road crews.

Moreton Group supports Volunteer Ambulance Officers through providing free HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training at our public training courses.
