Disability Support Worker – Casual Positions Available

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and skilled Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support to NDIS Participants across Southern Tasmania.

About the Role:
Support may include:

Personal care
Community access
Daily living assistance
Transport
Skill development and goal-based support

Essential Requirements:
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔ NDIS Endorsed Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
✔ Current First Aid & CPR
✔ Valid Driver Licence
✔ NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)
✔ Previous experience in Disability Support
✔ Medication training

What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Professional and respectful approach
Values aligned with dignity, inclusion, and independence
Reliable, responsible, and committed to quality support

☀️ A perfect day for a walk! 🌿

Katee and Jess spent the afternoon wandering around the dam, soaking up the sunshine and taking in the beautiful views. The weather couldn’t have been better — blue skies, fresh air, and lots of laughs along the way. 💚

It’s days like this that remind us how nice it is to slow down, enjoy nature, and good company. 💫

🌟 A Special Day for Allanah at Zoodoo! 🌟

Today Allanah had the most wonderful adventure at Zoodoo! 🦜🐄🐠
From meeting colourful parrots and cheeky stingrays to saying hello to the friendly highland cows, and enjoying a yummy treat 🍓, there was so much to see and enjoy.

But the highlight of Allanah’s day? 💛 She was specially chosen for the meerkat experience! 🐾 The excitement and joy on her face said it all as she got up close with these curious little animals.

At SilaCa Tasmania, we love supporting our participants to enjoy new experiences, build memories, and explore the community in fun and meaningful ways. Days like this remind us why we do what we do. 💚💜🖤
