It’s time to act now. Please help us to so that we as healthcare providers can look after you and your families during this unprecedented time

update.

At TasOGS we are wanting to be prepared for COVID-19.

There are too many vulnerable community members that we need to protect, especially our elderly. If we do this, and it hasn't been needed, we lose nothing.

The following steps have been put into place with our TasOGS team:

- Screening all staff and patients at risk for COVID19
- Asking all risk for COVID19 to leave TasOGS immediately to head home & call the public health hotline on 1800 671 738 OR head to HPH ED
- No shaking hands or kissing
- No holding babies or toddlers
- Wiping down the practice surfaces repeated throughout the day
- Requesting support persons are kept to an absolute minimum
- Removal of all non essentials from the rooms (ie: magazines, toys, books, etc)
- Using Skype Telehealth for staff and patients at risk for COVID19 or in quarantine
- Acknowledging that appointments and surgery for non-urgent/emergency may be cancelled
- Providing staff and patient updates on COVID-19 as needed (beyond current public health measure - thank you to those diligently working in this area for our safety)

THANK YOU for your generous understanding during these unprecedented times ⭐️
