We had our first forest bathing session at Weilangta this morning.

It was very beautiful and relaxing.

We encountered black cockatoos, tawny frogmouths and songbirds.

The louder sound at the end of the video is not a Tasmanian Tiger it is the microphone scrapping on some foliage!

FOREST BATHING WALK @ WEILANGTA FOREST

My first forest bathing session will be at Wielangta Forest Walk near Bream Creek/Marion Bay.

A one hour guided session on an easy walk through the rainforest.

I have thirty years experience as a bushwalking, outdoor activity and river guide combined with training experience and a private practice in person centred somatic therapy.

We will be meeting at the Weilangta reserve carpark at 10am next Tuesday 10th February.

Bring good shoes, a raincoat and warm enough personal clothing, and a drink.

$20 per person, I will be holding ongoing sessions here, and at forest locations at the base of kunanyi Mt Wellington.

Walk distance is about 2.6km. Easy, mostly flat.

Bring some sturdy shoes if you need them.

I will be facilitating a 6 week trial of forest bathing sessions next year by a stream in the foothills of kunanyi Mt Wellington.

1 hour a week Tuesday morning 10am.

I am looking for 8 volunteers who would like to participate.
The trial would be no cost.
