SWEATY FEET?
Water-friendly means quick drying, wipable EVA surfaces. But not every day is a beach day. So we have a brilliant hygienic solution for you - footbed liners! As podiatrists, we also very much appreciate the removable & disposable nature of these liners. Foot odour is caused by the bacteria on your skin building up a lovely smelly colony in the warm moist environment under your feet. Most people do not clean their sandals to remove the build up of dead skin cells & bacteria that cause foot odours. So being able to simply replace the liner with a fresh one when needed will help improve your foot hygiene & comfort. Made from recycled materials, these footbed liners are available on the ANATOMICORE LABS shop

Testing out the new Asics Trabuco 14 trail runner today (walking not running - thats Maddies job!)

I really like it.

Wide forefoot ✅
EVA stability ✅,
Tongue padding ✅
Grip ✅
Matcha ✅

If you need a heel raise or >10mm heel pitch then it may not be the best shoe for you to walk in on flat surfaces for long periods of time. Trail or uneven surfaces should be ok though👌

Billed as the world’s toughest road half marathon, the Point to Pinnacle is also a major fundraiser for Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer Foundation.

For our podiatrist Madeleine Murray - a former track athlete- it was a chance to try something new. And wow how she rose to the challenge, placing 3rd in a field with over 5000 total participants.
🏃🏿🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

Congratulations Maddie - what a achievement 👏👏🥉

Today Foot Systems podiatrists Narelle & Madeleine had the great pleasure of showing their Japanese research colleagues from the Asics Institute of Sports Science how beautiful Tasmania is. Luckily the weather gods were kind!

The Asics team were in Hobart for the Sports Medicine Australia conference where they presented the results of a joint research project conducted at Foot Systems and at Asics headquarters in Japan.

Next week Narelle will be wearing two hats - presenting our AnatomiCore prototypes for feedback from our colleagues AND presenting for SEPA. It’s going to be busy!

Come along to the MSK Workshop by SEPA at the Australian Podiatry Conference on Saturday 28 June from 10am.

You will learn how to assess, educate and rehab your patients using some awesome tools from our trade displays with Dr. Narelle Wyndow, podiatrist, researcher, and People & Culture Director at Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia.

Get excited to learn:

✔️ How plantar pressure tools can help with assessment, education (patients love it!), and strength training

✔️ The impact of specialised OA footwear (think: rearfoot vs forefoot rockers)

✔️ How electrical stimulation & TENS can help build strength and reduce pain

You’ll walk away with at least one clinical gem that’ll change how you practice.
