✨️ Emerging female coaches scholarship fundraiser ✨️

Huge congratulations to the Womensport and Recreation Tasmania on launching their fundraising aiming to provide funds, resources and networking opportunities to emerging female coaches. The aim is to support and increase female coaches at a community and grassroots level, helping to reduce barriers they face in this space.

You may recognise our physio, Chrissy Tadros who sits on the board, continuing her passion in improving participation and retention of girls and women within the sporting sector.

That is some serious jump height!! Must be all those box jumps 😉😀

Congratulations to our physio, Ross, and his team Boss in making the southern league men's grand final 🎉🎉. The game is on tomorrow night at Moonah's sports centre and is a rematch of the state league final against Van Diemens back in June.

All the best to Ross and his team for their big game 🏐🏅

The Allcare team at the annual APA breakfast in Hobart yesterday morning 🍓🥐🍳

This year's presentation was by Dr Polly McGee from DisCo on Trauma Responsive Tools for Physios. An absolute fabulous event and topic. It also marked Brice's final event as the Tasmanian APA branch council president. What an incredible 4 years he has had in this position and we thank him for his contribution to the profession.

Lovely to have a large number of physios getting together for the event- thank you to those on branch council for organising and a huge thank you to Polly for presenting ❤️

Rock star Alec!!! 🤩

It's been a busy month for Alec and his band as they jetted interstate playing gigs all around Australia. From Adelaide to Sydney to Melbourne. Finally, a little home time in Tassie before playing in Perth this weekend.

Congrats Alec! No doubt a few coffees in between 😃. All the best for the upcoming show in WA 🎶🎸🎤

📚 Professional Development on the Road!

Frances Roberts recently completed the APA Level 1 Women’s Pelvic Health course in Adelaide, a rewarding weekend of learning while continuing her travels across Australia! 🚐🌿

The course was an excellent opportunity to further develop clinical skills in women’s pelvic health, an area Frances is passionate about.

Big thanks to the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the course facilitators for a fantastic and engaging learning experience. Frances looks forward to applying this knowledge in future locum placements throughout the year, and in the clinic at AllCare on her return!

This week, the Allcare team got together for an after work catch up. And although some of the crew couldn't make it, the rest enjoyed some out of work together time ❤️

The function continued on to include physios from other clinics in Hobart. It was so lovely for those in the profession to mingle outside of a work setting (photo forgotten 🤦🏽‍♀️).

Thanks to those who made it and thanks for hosting our excited bunch!!

🏃🏻‍♂️POINT TO PINNACLE 2025!🏃‍♀️

What a fantastic turn out for the 30th Anniversary of the Point to Pinnacle, the world’s toughest half marathon! 🏃🏅
Each year, the AllCare team are at Wrest Point, giving free massages and injury treatment advice to the amazing Point to Pinnacle or Point to Pub runners after their races. 👟
BIG thank you to our clinicians: Brice, Jordan, Emma, Maria, Alec, Jason, Leanne, Issy, Noah and Frances who all helped on the day 💪

And an extra well done to our physio Noah, who ran the Pinnacle in sub 2 hours! Amazing effort!!! 👏👏👏
